16/10/2025: Very good address Had lunch in October. Quite elaborate dishes, presented by the owner. Quite a selection. Pleasant service. Complimentary coffee. Highly recommended.

10/10/2025: After a wonderful mountain bike tour on the Via del Sale, four of us friends (both German and Italian-speaking) wanted to have dinner at the restaurant. What we experienced is hard to believe. According to the owner, the restaurant was fully booked, but only three tables were occupied on the terrace. We were told in no uncertain terms that we couldn't get anything to eat. Since the restaurant was the only one available in the entire valley, we drank two rounds of beer on the terrace, hoping to order something to eat. Unfortunately, to no avail. When we ordered another round of beer at the bar and said it was incomprehensible that we hadn't even gotten a piece of bread, maybe a piece of cheese (we would have been happy with anything), the owner was completely infuriated. I can't even describe the insults and curses that rained down on us. The way the man then slammed his hand on the bar still makes us tremble. The fact that we didn't get our faces punched at the end was only out of consideration for our age (around 60) (originally the owner's words). I'd like to mention that after about half an hour of being turned away, the French people at the next table were served very friendly and were given a very good meal. In the end, we had to spend the night in La Brigue without dinner, still hungry.
