10/09/2024: We had a 3 course lunch menu. The food was very tastefully prepared and tasted very tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

04/09/2024: Very good evening, “blind” menu in 4 courses with a perfect bottle of Red Burgundy. Everyone had a great time. Very original dessert (yeast ice cream and beer siphon). Well done.

25/04/2024: Si vous voulez payer très cher des plats très ordinaires, ce restaurant est fait pour vous. C’est un endroit branché (sur les réseaux sociaux) et pour l’instant ça suffit pour attirer du monde. Pour les touristes il est facile à trouver, car sur leur parcours dans le vieux Nice. Le fisc devrait s’intéresser à cet établissement qui n’accepte pas la carte bleue en 2024…

01/11/2024: La magnificencia de este lugar aunque abrumadora. El personal era muy servicial y profesional. Experimentamos lo que significa un nivel de servicio verdaderamente alto y la calidad de las bebidas también fue excelente. Este es uno de los lugares más exquisitos de la Riviera Francesa, que contribuyó a nuestra maravillosa estancia.

23/10/2024: Tenía muchas ganas de cócteles de cumpleaños pero me fui sintiéndome un poco desinflada y decepcionada. La decoración era suntuosa, pero el ambiente en general fue arruinado por la música, simplemente no encajaba. Dos chicos estaban cantando versiones de Radiohead, Megan traidor, etc y aunque eran muy buenos, simplemente no coincidía con el entorno. Luego, cuando llegó mi cóctel, vino en un vaso en forma de plátano, de nuevo fue el lugar equivocado para un vaso novedoso. Solo nos alojamos para una copa, ya que no era la experiencia con clase que esperábamos.

28/09/2024: Cold food we’ve been waiting for for 35 minutes. Tastes terrible. Pasta looks like it’s a store bought spaghetti boiled in tomato paste with nothing else. More than that, it’s dirty inside 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻also the fish looked like it has begun the decomposition process.

01/08/2024: In French, this place should be called an “attrape touriste” also known as a tourist trap. Finding a place where food is not tasty in Nice is challenging, but if you are looking for truly disappointing, oily and tasteless food, search no more! More often than not, I wonder how some of these places manage to get such glowing reviews while the food is just not good!

27/07/2024: Vi havde ikke booket bord, så vi måtte vente en lille time, hvor vi fik en drink hos naboen, indtil vores opmærksomme og arbejdsomme tjener (Jean?) vinkede os over til vores bord. L’Escalinada slår sig blandt andet op på ravioli, gnocci og Merda de Can. Sidstnævnte kendte vi ikke ,så det måtte googles (gør det selv, da det lyder vulgært, og derfor ikke må skrives her!. At det også var panerede fåretesti)kler) på menuen gjorde valget nemt! Vi blev på ingen måde skuffet - især ikke da vi kombinerede de to retter. Begge retter var meget velsmagende til den tunge side - lige noget for brødrene Price (som alle danskere kender for ikke at spare på hverken smør eller fløde). Denne perle af en restaurant har også mange andre lækre, lokale retter, men ofte kan det betale sig, at prøve det “skæve” på menukortet.
