22/05/2026: Avoid at all costs... The welcome and service were abysmal. The food was bland and poorly prepared, undoubtedly using frozen ingredients. I'm truly disappointed because paying (a lot) for such bad food is infuriating.

26/04/2026: Group lunch for a birthday. Two courses: cannelloni with ricotta cheese and veal sauté with polenta, both delicious. Fiadone was equally good.

12/08/2026: A truly unpleasant experience today. I was accosted by an employee who was worried about her parked car, which she claimed I'd bumped while weaving my way to an empty space with my bike in hand. I assured her I hadn't touched her car, but without even checking, she made it clear she didn't believe me (she "didn't know" if I was telling the truth). There are certainly better ways to be received. Then, I was lectured by a very gallant customer who couldn't fathom how anyone could talk back to a lady... (As a woman, she's probably not capable of defending herself against even the slightest objection). Very macho and perhaps a little too drunk, he generously promised me a "smack" without me having said a word. I had the weakness to reply with a word whose variant, perhaps tolerated by Google, is "idiot" 🤔. His response, however, cannot be quoted here, but it alludes to my mother's lineage, who supposedly had a job that required long walks on the sidewalk... given that I have short hair and he must have had unpleasant experiences with the police, he also calls me a name that reveals his admiration for this profession: dirty... etc. While he's showering me with insults, an employee comes by twice in the middle of the night to remind me that I shouldn't be insulting. He just neglects to remind the customer (probably a regular... that gives him certain privileges). At the checkout, I tried again to reason with the employee who was worried about her car, expressing surprise that despite all her fuss, she hadn't checked her door. Busy cleaning, she calmly replied that she didn't understand why I was responding to her accusations (apparently I wasn't playing along... she just wanted to liven things up a bit, "Marseille-style"?). The cashier, for her part, told me she was "shocked" to see me walk so close to her colleague's car, armed with my bicycle. She, too, "didn't know," but she had her suspicions about imaginary scratches. What bothers me is that the incident was caused by an employee, and that a customer with highly questionable behavior (physical threats, insults, including against the police) wasn't put in his place at all by the employee who intervened to restore order... to me, that amounts to complicity. Fully aware that I have written a novel, but wanting to calmly denounce inappropriate, insulting, and stupid behavior...which could be reproduced at the whim of these ladies and gentlemen...

09/01/2026: Perfect bakery and pastry shop. Everything is delicious: the bread, the pastries—they have raisin bread, chocolate brioches with a blend of old-fashioned and modern flavors, and very generous portions... The olive oil bread is superb... The brioche des rois and the frangipane galette are top-notch. The cakes are also very generously portioned. All this at very reasonable prices. Friendly staff. My only regret is that it's not in my neighborhood, but I go there as often as I can.

08/08/2026: I'm truly sorry to leave such a negative review because the service wasn't bad, hence the two stars ⭐️ ⭐️. Fred was very friendly, but unfortunately, that wasn't enough to save a suggested dish of "Sea bass fillet with salad and seasonal vegetables" that was more suited to a "Flunchy" restaurant. I'll let you judge from the photo, and I didn't eat it, I just cut up what appeared to be breaded sea bass fillet!? I would say: dipped in a tasteless, bland mush... A rice dish, with a wine-like aroma, mixed with cream and mushrooms, was served without being mentioned. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The vegetables (plural) consisted of 10 frozen green beans tossed in oil with no garlic, no parsley, no seasoning 🤦🏼‍♀️ and a sprinkling of salad from an open bag… In short, avoid this place because, to get this plate, knowing that there were two of us and only three tables were having lunch, we waited over an hour 😬 Avoid at all costs! 🤦🏼‍♀️🍽️

26/06/2026: Honestly, for a brasserie, the daily specials are really tasty and well-thought-out. The menu is also very appealing, and the value for money is excellent. The fish is fresh and cooked perfectly. A typical Marseilles atmosphere.
