16/05/2026: High-quality dishes, an equally warm welcome, and service of the same caliber. A must-try address to keep in mind, and one that will definitely make you want to return! A restaurant that rivals many of Marseille's other fine dining establishments. Open since 2012, the chef still has the enthusiasm of a newcomer. The dishes reflect his personality: generous. There's a choice of two starters, two main courses, and two desserts. Everything looks tempting. Everything is absolutely delicious. The seared bonito with its incredibly tender flesh on a barley risotto was a delight! The €3 glass of organic wine is perfect. The service is friendly and professional. One of the best restaurants in Marseille. Reservations are highly recommended!

25/05/2026: We had a reservation and ordered an aperitif. Then we waited an hour and ten minutes for the starters, which arrived with the main courses, and of course, everything was cold. There was clearly a lack of service staff, creating a tense atmosphere, and yet the receptionist was taking in everyone who showed up, adding tables and chairs as if the chaos wasn't bad enough already! A disastrous evening for us, as we were regulars at this establishment, but unfortunately, it wasn't our day. We were offered coffee by management and received apologies, but the damage was done. What a shame.

09/05/2026: I had the pleasure of having lunch on the terrace with a friend, and the food was delicious! The prices are very reasonable and the quality is excellent. We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this restaurant.

05/05/2026: Our first stop for a meal in Marseille. As we walked by I saw the most amazing panko crusted chicken Ceasars salad fit for 2 and had to stop. The burgers that passed by to other table looke tempting. Our first glass of wine was outstanding, just as I remember from rural Provence. I had the quinoa salad with a side of fries and it did not disappoint. The server was delightful and patient with my lack of french, but we tried. I recommend and will return to Place Castellane during my stay.

21/04/2026: The baby squid were delicious!!! However, I was very disappointed by the pasta; it's not their strong point!

12/04/2026: A pleasant surprise near Place Castellane in the 6th arrondissement on Avenue du Prado. We had a cuttlefish pizza, a first for me. Fresh ingredients, friendly waiter in a simple but authentic setting – what more could you ask for in a pizzeria? I recommend it.
