15/02/2026: A disgrace. I've always considered Valentine's Day a purely commercial holiday, but this year we decided to celebrate it at Aunt Yvonne's. The setting was lovely and the staff welcoming, but the disappointment was definitely on the plate. The foie gras starter wasn't mentioned on the menu, even though I hate truffles. The main course was just okay, fish with scallops. The fish was good, but topped with a single scallop that barely stood a chance against a meager garnish. The wait was so long it seemed like the kitchen had forgotten about us. The ice cream dessert looked like it came straight from a supermarket; I wouldn't have been able to guess the flavors if they hadn't been listed on the menu. And to finish, two tuiles and a fruit paste—I assume it was sugary—served on a dirty plate. All this for the modest sum of €179, not including wine… Next year, we'll cook at home.

10/02/2026: A lovely stop on our way to our ski trip. The Aunt Yvonne menu was fantastic. The terrine en croûte was wonderful. The poultry was excellent. Really very good. The only downside was the service. It's a shame.
