02/04/2024: Members of the Teritoria the collectors program, I chose this castle based on the photos of the exteriors but also for the ease of dining there. The restaurant seemed to offer good menus otherwise. The best word for this stay is: disappointment. On several levels: First of all, the room which is not located in the castle but in one of the outbuildings of the estate. The modernity of the colorful room, far from the charm of the authentic… but that remains subjective. Some details are still surprising, such as the crusting paint in the bathroom, the noise of the ventilation, the absence of storage, always in the bathroom, etc. But beyond the room, it was the catering that disappointed and upset us the most. After sitting down for dinner, we were treated to some appetizers to accompany my 58 euro menu. Unfortunately we had to wait more than 30 minutes to get the waiter and sommelier. Very friendly and competent, by the way. Meanwhile, the other 2 people, who must be interns, were moving around the room as best they could. Added to this is the proximity of the door which separates the restaurant room from the reception area. The latter did not close and we had a permanent draft with a clicking sound when it closed. As for the dishes themselves, it was again a disappointment. The mixtures of flavors that we did not consider subtle. Once again this is completely subjective. The wait between each course was obviously long... but the worst was the end of the dinner: If we did not ask for the sweets at the end of the meal, they were not brought to us because we had been forgotten... When I was Asked if I wanted a digestive to accompany them, I refused, tired of these repetitive waits. As for the buffet breakfast, it is suitable for such an establishment with fresh products. On the other hand, no hot dishes (egg or bacon, etc.) And here again, the lack of staff was cruelly felt. Lack of coffee capsules, forced to ask for water, coffee... and the room was not full, fortunately for us. Obviously I warned and explained all this to the person present at reception during checkout. She didn't react at all...

01/04/2024: We had booked one night there. He So it seemed convenient for us to dine there. We were very disappointed. Indeed, the prices are in the high range and neither the service nor the dishes are up to par. We were close to the door which kept opening. In addition to the draft, it was very disturbing. (A gust of wind even set fire to the small bouquet of dried flowers we had on the table) That evening, there were 3 people at the service. If the young man with the beard did his best with great professionalism, we cannot say the same thing about the two waitresses... surely they are novices? We waited more than 40 minutes before someone came to ask us if we wanted an aperitif. If we didn't ask for the sweets at the end of the meal, they weren't brought to us! Total forgetting Concerning the dishes, I opted for two à la carte dishes - Egg meurette my way, bacon, onions and mushrooms at 19th and pikeperch at 33rd (Pearly pike perch from Saône, variation of chard from the Jardin de Vernay, juice reduced with Burgundian juices). The fish was very good but the same sauce (with wine) for both was not in good taste for either of them. In addition, we must emphasize the price of the wines, which are really not cheap... and a wine by the glass at 14 euros! Finally, no internet connection at the table. Despite everything, the setting is very beautiful and the dishes are well presented... but beyond appearances, we are far from the level of a gastro restaurant The bedroom in the outbuildings is simple... the bathroom is rather small and lacks storage. The breakfasts are quite complete even if not super qualitative. There is still a shortage of staff. (Complicated to find someone to refill with coffee) Obviously the exteriors and the castle are very beautiful… but that is not enough
