I share the latest review regarding the New Year's Eve dinner... ...to begin with, at 8 pm, the scheduled time, there was no one to greet us at the entrance, but the bar was packed with several people waiting in the entrance for the evening...and that was just the beginning. We were then told that dinner wouldn't be served until 10:30 pm... The other customers were starting to complain about this inconvenience... At 11 pm, dinner started with a few tables without tablecloths, one Duralex glass per person, missing chairs, etc., etc...to make a long story short: a bland meal, a plate of foie gras served with a thick slice of salmon mixed in, a guinea fowl supreme stuffed with foie gras, also served cold, etc., etc....The owner came to our tables after several complaints because everyone was complaining about the service, but he always found an unacceptable excuse. The owner insisted on cash payment because he told me: "I paid for and bought the goods." "Right off the back of the truck"...is he allowed to do that? Some customers are wondering if the proceeds from this event will be declared... WE'LL SEE... According to him, the restaurant will soon be closing down, that's the real reason behind it all... And all this after speaking with local residents a few days later, and according to them, some complained to the authorities about the noise during the karaoke nights, which were outside of legal hours. ...AVOID AT ALL COSTS

02/01/2026: A disastrous New Year's Day experience. Payment was demanded in cash, the food was served cold, the atmosphere was terrible—you had to leave to go dancing in another room. Service was around 10:30 PM. The owner was very unpleasant. Avoid at all costs.

27/11/2025: A real gem! A lively beach, a lovely team, and a great eco-friendly vibe. We sunbathed, chilled, and danced… the perfect combination! Great cocktails, great music, great atmosphere: definitely the place to come back to all summer long.

27/03/2026: Extremely disappointed. After booking through the St. Pierre restaurant website, which we knew well, we were shocked to be greeted by new owners... the decor was a jumbled mess, like something from a flea market or garage sale... one of our chairs was ripped open... we were presented with a barely legible menu... no set menu... and when we asked for an explanation, we were told that the previous owners hadn't updated the website... and that if we weren't happy, we could go somewhere else... so we got up to leave, and the owner herself led the way, yelling at us to get out of her place in front of the other stunned customers... is this what business is all about... especially after only three weeks in operation? Absolutely not recommended.

27/03/2026: My wife and I came to this restaurant for lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Everything was delicious from the appetizer to the dessert, with quick and friendly service. We will definitely be back.

18/03/2026: Avoid at all costs! It's a disgrace to serve frozen food, watered-down cartons, and then claim it's "homemade"! A tourist trap that should relearn how to cook properly and stop taking advantage of this otherwise pleasant place... it should be shut down before a customer gets sick 🤒!

26/01/2026: So, for lunch today it was mussels and fries and well it was bland, something was missing, and lots of empty shells so overcooked, and of course they were not homemade fries, what a shame.

05/03/2026: An absolute delight! I was able to enjoy a mullet ceviche, specially requested when I made the reservation. It was very generous, cut like sashimi in Tokyo or other Japanese cities, and seasoned divinely. The monkfish stew that followed was just as good as the starter. If it weren't so far away, I'd make it my go-to spot for food lovers! 😂😂😂 Keep up the good work, well done, and thank you!

21/02/2026: This is our second visit, but it will be our last. The service was mediocre, and the mussels "à la brazucade" were a joke (frozen and tasteless, the same for the squid with chorizo). The €32 menu was barely worth €20. What you're really paying for is being served by the canal. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

23/03/2026: Unforgettable! We came to Grau du Roi in the summer of 2025 for our holiday and ate at this restaurant several times. The welcome was fantastic, all the servers were kind and smiling, and our order was taken quickly. The portions are very generous, which was a real treat for us as we have big appetites, and everything was delicious. A special mention for your drinks and desserts, which brought back childhood memories. When I was little, I had come here with my parents, and I recognized the little decorations on the desserts that I used to dream about! We will definitely be back for our next holiday!

06/03/2026: Looking forward to seeing you again soon! I hope you're only closed temporarily! 🤞 I'm coming back to Grau specifically next June to have my coffee in the early afternoon and eat your tapas and ice cream in the evening! I love it!

26/10/2025: Disappointed with our visit. We came for the daily special, which was mussels and fries, as shown on the sign outside. The welcome was decent, but the service was complicated for the waiters. When we ordered (12:15 p.m.), the waiter informed us that they were out of mussels. Too bad, we'll order something else, it's not a big deal. What disappointed us is that it was the waiter's mistake, because everyone who arrived after us until 1 p.m. was able to get their mussels and fries. We even heard a waitress say to the customers at the table next to us, "There are no more mussels, but I'll find some for you." When it came time for the bill, I told the owner, who, apart from telling me it was weird, did nothing. No apology, no goodwill gesture.
