23/07/2026: Freshness and quality, straight from the fishing port to the 'Barque Bleue', and, if you wish, served immediately at your table. Anyone who appreciates exquisite shellfish prepared to perfection will definitely be delighted here. The perfect selection for seafood lovers: Camargue oysters, prawns, brown crab, bulgur wheat, palourdes, and amandes, offered individually upon request or on a platter... my favorite: the 'Plateau Ecailler' with a superb selection of the 'Top 6' Camargue classics, priceless, but here at an absolutely fair price. Hard to believe, because: just around the corner at Place de la République, the tourist terraces are ruthlessly fighting for every single customer, and quality and freshness are hardly a priority there... I prefer to trust the locals' advice and enjoy perfect quality and service with style at the 'Barque Bleue'.

22/07/2026: Once again, we've been coming for 15 years now, a platter with Étang de Théau cheese for two, and it's always wonderfully fresh. The staff and owner are always ready to go the extra mile for their customers. When I read or see some of the reviews, it's laughable how disingenuous they are. Some people just don't get it. Don't change a thing, please! We're very satisfied and we'll send you our customers.

06/07/2026: The ultimate tourist trap. Endless service even though there were only three tables on the terrace. Pretentious presentation for very little: a very thin steak, poorly cooked, and a few rather dry pieces of cake instead of a gourmet coffee. Avoid this place.

29/06/2026: Absolutely avoid this place! Bland food, mediocre quality ingredients, tasteless industrial sauces, and everything was frozen. The meat was tough and overcooked, and the fish was clearly just defrosted. The vegetables were uninteresting and simply reheated. The desserts were also industrial. This is the worst place we've ever eaten! It made me sick!! The service was impeccable, though; a lovely young waitress. In short, keep walking despite the pleasant setting.

31/07/2026: We came to eat at this lovely little restaurant, just the two of us! We were craving seafood, and we certainly got what we wanted! This restaurant specializes in seafood platters (no fish or mussels and fries, just so you know). It's a small restaurant with limited seating, so don't hesitate to make a reservation if you're unsure. The waiters and waitresses are incredibly kind and attentive! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who's in the mood for seafood!

12/07/2026: A very warm welcome, top-notch service, and attentive, smiling waiters. Impeccable homemade paella, and an exceptional bull steak. High quality, lovely shaded and breezy terrace. A must-try. Extremely reasonable prices, quite good for the south, with an excellent selection on the €16.50 set menu.

10/07/2026: We went to eat there as a group of five on our first night after a 12-hour drive. It was a sweltering heatwave. We remembered the paella being reasonably priced. We left disappointed, having waited an hour in a sauna to eat, and the children had already finished. The octopus salad wasn't available for my 14-year-old. The paella was incredibly spicy, we were too full, and it was far too hot. We were offered two coffees that we wouldn't have had. We were extremely disappointed. The kitchen was at fault. A small suggestion: update your decor; it's outdated.

17/04/2026: Superb hotel right on the seafront. The staff are incredibly friendly and kind. The breakfast room has a splendid sea view. I would just say that they should have more tables for two people, as often the tables for four are occupied by two people, resulting in a bit of a wait to be seated. There is no parking provided for the hotel, but the reception can recommend nearby streets with free parking. Wishing you a wonderful 2026 season!

28/07/2026: Le Patio, the perfect restaurant for a delicious seafood meal! A delight from the warm welcome to the little coffee. Not a single flaw. Arriving around 9 pm, the three of us wanted to share a pleasant moment over a seafood meal to end the day on a high note. We were drawn to the chalkboard menu, which read "fresh seafood from Grau du Roi." All we could do was hope there would be a spot for us despite the late hour and the fact that we hadn't made a reservation, just going with the flow... Jackpot! We were told a maximum wait of 10 minutes, and we didn't wait a second longer! The wait was more than respected, the welcome was warm and friendly, and we were given a small table on the dock. We were thrilled! For an aperitif, we enjoyed homemade iced tea and a delicious cocktail! We whetted our appetites with flavorful, fragrant mussels (a great start to our seafood meal). For the main courses, cuttlefish, octopus, and rouille graulenne were all equally delicious. A real treat for all three of us. Not a word was spoken at the table, our eyes shining with delight! We knew we were at our peak and that the memory was being etched into our minds! The desserts were no less impressive. The little one adored his pistachio crème brûlée, fresh from the oven, and the petits fours in the gourmet coffee that we shared were a far cry from the ubiquitous panna cotta and ice cream. Financier, brownie, waffle, crêpe, apricot muffin: generous and flavorful! Even the coffee was good (rare enough to mention) and served in a beautiful cup 😉 In short, a wonderful time for the three of us, one we will remember. A big thank you to the whole team for the smiles, the good humor, the professionalism, and the quality of the menu. Don't change a thing. Until next time.
