27/05/2026: A wonderful experience! We arrived as a group of 12 and were all served very well, all at the same time. We chatted with the owners after our meal; they are passionate, down-to-earth, and very helpful. We'll definitely be back! :-)

04/06/2026: Excellent experience at Pizzeria d’Autrefois! The pizzas are delicious, generously topped, and made with quality ingredients. The wood-fired oven gives them an authentic flavor that you appreciate from the first bite. The welcome is warm, the owner is friendly and attentive; he gave me excellent recommendations for the meat pizza and the goat cheese and honey pizza, both with superb crust. A nice bonus is the halal meat option, and the service is quick. The atmosphere is friendly and pleasant, ideal for spending quality time with family or friends. A must-try in Grau-du-Roi that I highly recommend. We will gladly return!

02/06/2026: The pizzas are excellent, as are the tiramisu and the cherry vanilla ice cream. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and you can even eat in. Thank you!

06/07/2026: The ultimate tourist trap. Endless service even though there were only three tables on the terrace. Pretentious presentation for very little: a very thin steak, poorly cooked, and a few rather dry pieces of cake instead of a gourmet coffee. Avoid this place.

29/06/2026: Absolutely avoid this place! Bland food, mediocre quality ingredients, tasteless industrial sauces, and everything was frozen. The meat was tough and overcooked, and the fish was clearly just defrosted. The vegetables were uninteresting and simply reheated. The desserts were also industrial. This is the worst place we've ever eaten! It made me sick!! The service was impeccable, though; a lovely young waitress. In short, keep walking despite the pleasant setting.

10/05/2026: A nice spot for a quick oyster tasting before dinner. The Camargue oysters are excellent.

06/06/2026: Could be 5 stars with small improvements! Flavour of food was nice- great cuttlefish panisses and ribeye was nicely aged. Steak was really tough which isn’t exactly fault of restaurant but we were not asked how our food/ experience was so paid the bill and left feeling ripped off.

30/06/2026: The essentials for an oyster bar... in all its simplicity. The owner's son, who works there, is very helpful. You'll find the establishment in the shopping arcade behind the Spar supermarket.

04/11/2025: A very warm welcome, the service is efficient and quick without ever feeling rushed. They regularly ask if everything is alright and if you're satisfied. This is so rare. An almost exceptional find in the highly touristic setting of La Grande Motte, even out of season. The dishes are beautifully presented, generously portioned, and delicious. As for the view, you're right on the beach, and the road is very quiet, at least at this time of year. A place you absolutely must discover.

04/07/2026: We had lunch there today with my parents, and everything was perfect. The meal was excellent and the service impeccable. A special mention to your young waitress, who was very kind, smiling, and professional… and who managed to take my father's jokes in stride!

The value for money was excellent, our waiter Adrien and the staff were fantastic, and the mussels marinière were delicious. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely return.

17/04/2026: Superb hotel right on the seafront. The staff are incredibly friendly and kind. The breakfast room has a splendid sea view. I would just say that they should have more tables for two people, as often the tables for four are occupied by two people, resulting in a bit of a wait to be seated. There is no parking provided for the hotel, but the reception can recommend nearby streets with free parking. Wishing you a wonderful 2026 season!

However, the dirty windows give the impression of neglect, which is a shame and contrasts with the quality of the food. Overall, a good place, but one that would benefit from improved hygiene and attention to detail. The American music is inappropriate for the setting. We are in France 🇫🇷

14/04/2026: Good quality. However, it's a case of forced sales. €5 for a diabolo (a type of soft drink). €30 for a "kids'" plate!! Of course, no one forced us to come. But I used to be a restaurant owner, and this is how you damage the industry. We want mussels, not just mussels cooked on the griddle for €30.90. Same for cuttlefish, only on the griddle...so very, very expensive. Kids' menu €35 with a diabolo.
