Les meilleurs restaurants en Uzes

23/06/2024: Nous sommes allés prendre un café en terrasse avec mon mari le 23 juin 2024 à 10h au café de l'esplanade a Uzés. Nous avons commandé 2 cafés, n'ayant qu'un billet de 50€, mon mari lui a dit :"désolé, je n'ai pas de monnaie", le serveur lui a répondu que ce n'était pas grave, il allait chercher la monnaie, parti avec le billet, celui-ci revient avec la monnaie sur 10€, on lui faut remarquer que nous avions donné 50€, rien a faire, son patron complice dit : "regardez je n'ai pas de billet de 50 dans ma caisse. C'était donc parole contre parole". On serait beaucoup de malice et une façon de faire préparée et rodée car nous sommes des touristes devl'ouest sans accent. Donc ce sont des voleurs organisés. Nous avons porté plainte.

13/08/2024: Un déjeuner en famille jour de marché (donc beaucoup de monde), accueil agréable, personnel jeune, souriant et efficace ,dans un joli cadre , les plats/tapas sont bons.

21/07/2024: Let's start with the fact that this restaurant doesn't take reservations, which is a very extremely unfriendly way to run a business. What it means is that you might have to stand around for upwards of an hour, and then once seated, have waiting people hovering over you. Then the service is slapdash and unfriendly, and with the exception of some braised artichokes, everything our table of four ate was very mediocre. Do NOT order the steak tartare here, since it was not chilled when it arrived at the table on a hot night, and be advised that the food is consistently under-seasoned. This place has a very good local repution, but I was very disappointed by our meal and would not go back. I also find myself wondering why the beautiful little town of Uzes is such a restaurant desert. The only good meal we had during this visit was at Le Barry, which is only open for dinner twice a week and where the service is also by way of being very snippy.
