12/08/2026: We had a wonderful time. The service far exceeded our expectations. A big thank you to Léa for the quality of her service, as well as to the head sommelier, who guided us throughout the meal with two wines perfectly paired with the menu.

15/08/2026: Excellent restaurant in the heart of Uzès, perfect service, warm and very helpful owners, quality cuisine with local products, well-shaded terrace, reasonable price, only one drawback: the proximity to the boulevard.

15/08/2026: Passing through the area, we discovered this little restaurant, "La Cantine," with its generous and delicious home-style cooking. The service was top-notch, with humor, efficiency, and a warm welcome. I work in the same field and I understand the challenges of satisfying an increasingly demanding clientele. We ordered three delicious ricotta and spinach ravioli au gratin. I say, "BRAVO! 👏👏👏 AND BEST OF LUCK!"

21/08/2026: My brother, my girlfriend, and I went there. I don't know if it's because we're young or if he treats all customers this way, but there was only one waiter, and he was anything but friendly. First of all, he spoke to us incredibly quickly and curtly, and when we tried to ask him a question, he told us to "hurry up." I understand we weren't the only customers, but the least he could do is greet us politely. Our experience wasn't great, which is a shame because the atmosphere itself was actually quite nice.

14/06/2026: Located just before Uzès, this hotel is really pleasant and offers excellent value for money. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast served at the table is very good, and the swimming pool is a real bonus after a day of sightseeing.

10/06/2026: We were very satisfied with our stay. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh organic bread and homemade jams.

23/08/2026: Authentic Italian food in a very French food dominated town. Service was excellent with all staff polite, especially letting us off the hook with our very poor French as they all speak very good English. Prices very reasonable and wines of excellent quality. Highly recommend the scallopina Milanese and scallapina al fungi. Reservations are required.

30/07/2026: A flawless dinner! Seated on the magnificent rooftop terrace, we had a wonderful time together with our little boy. The dishes were delicious, prepared with incredibly fresh ingredients. Special mention goes to the impeccable service and the menu, which offered excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back; thank you to the team!

27/08/2026: A lovely spot on the famous Place aux Herbes in Uzès! We had dinner inside as a family (due to a storm) and the setting was very pleasant and unique: it's a shop selling regional products/gourmet food. Alternatively, there's a superb terrace under the arcades of the square! The menu is quite small (a sign of quality!), rather simple (open-faced sandwiches, platters, etc.) but delicious (the Provençal steak tartare...🤤), and the service is very friendly. Some of the items you order can then be purchased in the shop! Bonus: coloring books are provided for children! 😊 I highly recommend it.

26/08/2026: We were a little worried it might be a tourist trap since the restaurant is located on Place aux Herbes. We were pleasantly surprised. A very warm welcome despite the crowds. We ordered a pintà-style pizza. When it arrived, it looked small, but in fact, we ate quite a bit. The crust was wonderful. And the toppings were delicious too. We then ordered an ice cream sundae. Even though we have a sweet tooth, we struggled to finish it. The portion was very generous, and the fresh cream wasn't from a supermarket can. We'll definitely be back.

07/08/2026: While visiting Uzès during the village festival, I witnessed a scene that struck me, right in front of the tables of this restaurant. A mother with her four-year-old child was walking on the sidewalk, like most passersby—unaware, as tourists, that the road had been closed to traffic for the occasion and that she could therefore have walked on it without any risk. The restaurant owner reprimanded her for walking on the sidewalk in front of his establishment, something that could have been pointed out with a modicum of courtesy. Instead, he accompanied his remark with copious insults, which I won't repeat here, but which were inexcusable toward a mother with a young child. I was walking right behind her and felt targeted by the same attitude. I understand that managing service during a busy period can be stressful, but nothing justifies this kind of behavior toward passersby who were simply discovering the place. A simple, polite explanation — for example, inviting them to walk on the now pedestrianized road — would have been more than enough!

23/11/2025: I've never eaten such disgusting pasta in Sicily. "Al ragù" pasta with no meat, no sauce, just the cooking water, perfect for mixing, charged at €19. Truffle pasta, overcooked but perfectly crisp, €23! Small portion, different depending on the customer. Avoid at all costs!!!

15/11/2025: A must-try in Uzès 🫶. Everything is excellent, the dishes are beautiful and delicious, and the welcome is warm. We tried the Sicilian fondue, and we loved it!! I highly recommend it.
