Nothing like the countless touristy pseudo-restaurants in the area.
A must-try.
The sauerkraut (...) is simply delicious (the best in 38 years??)
We let ourselves be guided in selecting wines to pair with the menu.
Stunning. Succulent.
A discovery of Alsatian wines from 2014 to 2018. An incredible experience.
And all for a reasonable price.
And the service was incredibly professional, leading to a great discussion about Alsatian and French wines.
Hats off.
Thank you for this excellent culinary and oenological experience.
30/06/2026: On a friend's recommendation, we ate at this restaurant. The cuisine was excellent, classic but expertly prepared, and the wine list was superb, offering good value for money. It's a shame the service was a bit cold and distant; perhaps it was the heat that day (hence the one-star deduction). But thankfully, the dining room was air-conditioned. We will return. Thank you.

10/04/2026: We've been here 15-20 times on our way back from holidays in the Vosges Mountains over the last few years. The food is delicious and plentiful, the service is friendly to the point of being attentive, and the restrooms are cool and clean. My wife loves salads, and they have a great variety here. I prefer something a bit more substantial and really enjoy the steak with minced meat, topped with bacon and Munster cheese, served with fries and a small side dish. The dew clouds your beer, life flows by when you sit outside, and you don't feel like you're disturbing the local regulars. There's plenty of parking, so everything's great! Alsace is all about tourism, and often you just get rubbish for a lot of money... BUT not here, everything's still just right!

13/06/2026: A rather disappointing experience. The restaurant didn't seem to be air-conditioned, and it was hotter inside than outside. The meal was therefore quite unpleasant. The service was very slow from beginning to end. We had ordered rare meat, but it arrived much overcooked. For a restaurant specializing in meat, this is truly regrettable.
The restrooms are also poorly maintained.
On the other hand, the staff remained friendly and courteous throughout the entire meal. This is a shame, as it doesn't compensate for the other negative points. The first star is, in fact, awarded solely for the quality of the welcome and service.
We were offered complimentary desserts to make up for the unpleasantness of the meal, and we appreciated this gesture. This deserves an additional star.
07/06/2026: Arrived at 4 PM on my motorcycle in this beautiful, warm weather.
The waitress immediately seated us at a small table, helmets in hand, so we hung them on the coat rack.
We waited 5 to 10 minutes, and then she came with two salads. Uh, no, we only came for dessert. Oh, well, no, we don't do that, and he's alone in the kitchen. Uh, yeah, so what? There were 2 or 3 customers in the dining room, lol.
"It's not going to be possible," she told us...
So we left. Great Buffalo Grill, forced to eat even at 4 PM, and then they complain they don't make enough money. Anyway, last time with this chain.

19/04/2026: Amazing pizza! Excellent pizza dough and generous toppings! A real treat! The desserts were fantastic too. The waitress was welcoming... we received a very warm welcome! The cocktail was great!
