20/03/2026: Stayed twice during March 2026 (three nights followed by two) for business trips.
The hotel was comfortable and very clean (thank you to the cleaning staff), and the breakfast was good.
The reception staff (especially Kim, her daytime colleague, and the night porter) were attentive, helpful with restaurant recommendations, and very pleasant.
I happily recommend this hotel ☺️

07/02/2026: Absolutely fantastic! The owner's a bit of a goofball, but no big deal! As long as he serves non-Basques! Marie in the kitchen is an artist! You have to book a table, but be warned, you never know when you'll leave!!!

06/05/2026: Excellent food. Fast service. Generous portions and perfectly cooked; my Peking duck was crispy on the outside and practically meltingly tender on the inside—a real treat. Two stars deducted for the sake glass. Not the drink itself—the lychee flavor that develops once it warms the palate was truly fantastic—but the glass itself was really not great. 😐

The preparation was already quick. Very surprised!
As for the pizzas... Amazing! The crust isn't too thick, but since they're so generously topped, I was full in no time.
A real treat!
My partner went to pick up the pizzas and told me he'd met someone very friendly. New to the neighborhood, we've only heard good things about them, and honestly... This pizzeria is a real gem.
And the price... It's very reasonable for something so good. I'll be back again and again... And again... And again... 🤩🍕

Prepared meals, fresh produce, beautiful presentation...and yet from the outside it looks like a typical bar/pmu.
Plus, something rare these days, the staff is super friendly, cheerful, and fun to be around.

13/05/2026: We came specifically for the Caesar salad, with breaded chicken as advertised on the menu!
We ended up with just plain, unbreaded chicken strips! The salad was good, but no one told us they were out of breaded chicken, and I didn't dare ask! But we were still charged for the difference! I doubt plain chicken costs the same as breaded chicken!
It's understandable that they might run out, but we arrived at 1 p.m., and I think honesty is important in a restaurant; this isn't how you keep customers!

26/04/2026: We ordered a 280g rösti and, of course, the rösti was missing… making 280g rösti a bit pricey… And on top of that, we also ordered a Happy Meal and didn't even get the book, which is charged separately.
The staff was just chatting and laughing instead of focusing on the orders, and I should point out that it wasn't even busy… If they have to check even the sandwiches, that's unacceptable…
23/04/2026: The terrace has been given a makeover, all that's missing are a few plants and you can eat an ice cream or a meal outside under a huge parasol and on brand new tables.

Perfect location for work in a commercial area.
29/01/2026: Booked a room for disabled guests for the evening of December 31st for two elderly people.
- A room for disabled guests with a bathtub??? How is that even possible!
- The heating didn't work! It was freezing cold all night!!!
- Breakfast was booked, but service stopped at 9:00 AM on January 1st, the day after New Year's Eve, with no possibility of a refund, even though there was nothing fresh on the buffet!
A truly terrible experience! Avoid this hotel!

19/04/2026: This is the third time I've been to this bakery, what a mistake! Every time I find an excuse for them. Please, if you don't have a knack for business, you should stop. The manager was incredibly aggressive, and don't even get me started on the employees... the products are mediocre. In short, avoid it!
10/03/2026: Disappointed. I used to come every day, but now there are no more sandwiches after noon. There are only four employees in the shop and an endless queue, but only one actually serves customers while the others wander around. Frankly, I won't be going back to this one. Take five minutes and go to the one in Portet next door where the staff are much nicer and there's always a good selection.

07/07/2024: Le restaurant n’est pas propre et le décor est cheap voir désuet. La formule est à un prix excessif pour la qualité de la nourriture. En effet, elle n’est pas bonne et les assiettes sont toutes sales . A éviter

06/09/2024: The woman with the glasses serves customers without gloves, with her hands, she served me my sandwich with her hands hygiene level is not great!!! I get a raw tuna sandwich and surprise I get a sandwich with only tuna, a few pieces of egg and two pickles fighting a duel. Surely an error in the preparation, in short next time I come I will be sure to tell your shopkeeper to wear gloves or take the products with TONGS!!!!
