The staff is exceptional; a huge thank you to Ilona, ​​she's welcoming, always smiling, she's wonderful and made our time unforgettable. 06/08/2026: Fantastic welcome from the whole team, a complete change of scenery! The atmosphere was warm and friendly, Ilona made us feel at ease as soon as we arrived. She took our picture and even let us try génépi liqueur! Honestly, it will remain an unforgettable moment. Thank you so much!

21/08/2026: For a birthday celebration, I had gone there in advance to reserve a table large enough for five people. At the time of my reservation, this table was confirmed. Forty-eight hours later, we arrived for lunch and found ourselves completely relocated to a rather uninspiring space (the restaurant as a whole is remarkably lacking in charm), except for the section where I had originally reserved. Fearing my departure, they tried to find a solution, but ultimately, we ended up five people crammed onto a table for four, three of whom were over 1.90 meters tall... all for decent food, nothing more, except for the gourmet coffee. When it came time to pay, we received not even a note of apology, nor a complimentary coffee. We stayed for 15 days; this will be our first and last visit to this mediocre establishment.

07/09/2026: The staff were very pleasant, the mountain pasture platter was a delight, as was the blueberry tart. Our dog was welcome and had a large bowl of water. Eating on the terrace with a magnificent view was pure bliss.

05/09/2026: Everything is perfect! The kebabs in summer are excellent! The porcini mushroom fondue in winter is superb! The Génépi liqueur is delicious! We always receive a warm welcome!

05/09/2026: The products are undoubtedly of good quality, however, considering the price, the service is completely inadequate. The dishes are ordinary, lacking any refinement or subtlety in the flavors. The waitress is pleasant, but doesn't meet the expected standards. The knives look like they came from a cafeteria... I found this address in a book listing various good restaurants. I encourage you to try the Chartreuse au Reposoir restaurant; it's half the price and the quality is incomparable. This is the first time I've left a negative review, but frankly, I was disappointed.

23/08/2026: Excellent in every way, the cuisine was masterful, the ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the chef was at the helm. Thank you for this delightful meal: sweetbreads with an exceptional morel and chanterelle sauce, peas and new potatoes in a Grand Marnier soufflé, a glass of Chinon, and coffee with a mini puff pastry Tatin. The service was very professional, not with a forced, commercial smile, but a genuine one that brought me pure joy. A very charming lady, a regular customer, sat at my table and shared this lunch with me. Please give this lady my regards to the manager. Thank you again! Passing through this magnificent region.
