06/07/2026: Outrageous experience at the Irish Café. Run for your lives! I have rarely seen an establishment display such contempt for its customers. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was icy, and everyone we dealt with was unpleasant, haughty, and unprofessional. While I was with people who were already eating or drinking there, I was refused a simple glass of water. An incomprehensible and particularly petty attitude. Yet, Article L541-15-10 of the French Environmental Code stipulates that drinking water must be provided free of charge to customers of food establishments. Refusing water under these circumstances demonstrates a complete lack of customer service. What makes the situation even more absurd is that it's July, with temperatures exceeding 31°C (88°F). Refusing a simple glass of water in such conditions demonstrates a total lack of consideration for customers. The worst part was when it came time to pay. When I tried to pay with my Ticket Restaurant card, I was met with a particularly aggressive refusal. The person there literally ripped the card reader out of my hand. This disrespectful, humiliating, and completely unacceptable behavior from a professional. As if that weren't enough, one of my colleagues ordered a cappuccino, which she found utterly disgusting. A poor-quality drink, served in an already extremely unpleasant setting. Between the appalling welcome, the refusal to offer a glass of water in the middle of a heatwave, the aggressive attitude at the checkout, and the mediocre quality of the drinks, this establishment has every possible flaw. Honestly, I don't understand how this place is still in business today or how it can retain any customers with such poor service. Thankfully, there are many much more welcoming and respectful cafes in the area. A shameful experience from beginning to end. Firstly, I was with colleagues who were eating and drinking there. In this context, refusing a simple glass of water, especially during a period of intense heat (over 31°C), genuinely surprised me. In France, establishments serving drinks are legally required to offer free drinking water to their customers, without the possibility of refusal or being charged. I have attached a screenshot to support my statement (Article L541-15-10 of the Environmental Code). I don't understand why I was refused a glass of water and offered Vittel, which is not free. Regarding payment, restaurant voucher cards are accepted for the purchase of non-alcoholic beverages, which was the case for me as I ordered an iced tea. However, it wasn't the refusal itself that bothered me, but the way it was expressed. The gesture of abruptly removing the card reader was perceived as disrespectful and contributed to the unpleasant feeling I experienced. Regarding the cappuccino, my colleague didn't comment immediately. That doesn't change the fact that she found it bad and was disappointed. Finally, while we didn't experience the situation in the same way, I maintain that the welcome and our interactions didn't make us feel welcome, and judging by your negative reviews, we're all saying the same thing, so perhaps you should reconsider your approach. 06/07/2026: Appalling. This establishment should be avoided. The waiter and cashier (manager?) behaved in an unpleasant and unacceptable manner. My colleague wanted to order a glass of water, and the waiter told her that they didn't dispense water glasses and that you absolutely had to order something to get one. She ended up ordering a Fuze Tea and didn't even get a glass of water in the end. I ordered a cappuccino, which turned out to be disgusting; I couldn't even drink it. Far too expensive for what it is and the attitude of the staff. Avoid at all costs. If I could, I would give it zero stars. Regarding the manager's dishonest comment: My colleague paid for me and another colleague with his credit card, not his restaurant voucher card, given the minimum spend required for credit card payments. Sir, you are a shameless liar. I rarely post reviews, and the reason I'm posting this one is that you and your server behaved appallingly. I understand, however, that you will never acknowledge your mistakes and are acting in bad faith; I will not respond further. I also don't understand how your establishment manages to stay in business, given the multitude of reviews like mine that describe the same issues.

15/05/2026: I hadn't seen the "Minimum €10 credit card payment" sign on the bar because I was seated on the terrace. When I went to pay for my €4.50 Coke Zero, I explained that I'd forgotten my purse and therefore only had my phone to pay. I was told to go withdraw cash… even though I didn't have my credit card with me. Then they asked me to pay €10 instead of the €4.50 I'd spent. So I stood there, saying no, until the waiter finally handed me the card reader for €4.50, in an extremely rude manner. From then on: not a glance, not a thank you, not a goodbye. I really felt like they just wanted to get rid of me. No empathy, no customer service whatsoever. Honestly, a place to avoid.

05/05/2026: I ate herring fillets swimming in a centimeter of vegetable oil. The waiter was blasé; others would come after me, so my herring problems...

30/07/2026: 30-minute wait for an incomplete order... Unacceptable, pathetic. This is far from McDonald's principles, especially for an order over €50. 1 Click & Collect with a 40-minute wait. Despite the reviews, nothing changes. What does the company do besides advertise? Never contacted again. What's the point of reviews?

29/07/2026: Served cold burgers at the front for the third time. Angry at what I said, they told me to take my order and redo it since I couldn't get a refund. In short, it's rubbish. Eat something else or stay hungry and don't waste your money! + Rude staff
