18/01/2025: While visiting Paris, I came across a Pakistani/Indian restaurant near my hotel (just a 10-minute bus ride away) thanks to Google. I booked a table online and was pleased to be seated promptly upon arrival. The staff greeted us warmly, and the restaurant’s traditional décor created a lovely and authentic atmosphere. The menu offered a great range of dishes, and my wife and I ordered sheekh kebabs, naan, and chicken tikka masala. While my wife wasn’t a fan of the sheekh kebabs, the chicken tikka masala was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The freshly made naan was the perfect accompaniment, completing a satisfying meal. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, and I would recommend this spot to family, friends, or anyone visiting Paris who’s looking for authentic Pakistani/Indian cuisine.

09/12/2024: Le Royal indien offre une belle carte de spécialités indiennes. Les samossas sont excellents. Les cheese nans sont bien garnies. Tous les plats qu’on a l’habitude de goûter sont bons. On n’est jamais déçu par ce restaurant niché dans une petite rue du 17e. Le service est irréprochable.

27/06/2024: By far and very easily, the tastiest Indo-Pak cuisine I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten in some brilliant curry houses. I honestly wasn’t expecting to say this about a curry house in Paris...my wife and I had ordered a chicken jalfrezi, lamb rogan josh, palak aloo along with some tandoori roti and garlic naans. Each dish was prepared to absolute perfection. The chutneys were spiced just right. A mint chutney with I believe, a touch of raw mango and separately, a plum sauce (I think!) When I say the blend of spices were spot on, they were spot on!! I don’t hand compliments outs easily. If you’re looking for some curry in Paris, you have to visit here, I know I will again. After we had eaten, I asked about the teas on offer, to which they replied with a well balanced karrack chai, made fresh and not overly strong, slight hint of fennel and on the house! We followed the food and drank tea, with a lovely conversation about our shared experiences as first generation Muslims living outside of Pakistan, us from the UK and the manager from Paris. All in all, this felt like a home away from home, really topping our night off! Thank you so much!

03/12/2024: Ordered on deliveroo and we were very disappointed: the dishes have no taste (for a Butter Chicken and a mixed Korma it's a bit of a shame...), you can't smell the garlic in the garlic cheese naan , there is a lot of rice compared to the amount of meat and sauce. We regularly eat Indian food (which we usually love) and have never been so excited. We are very surprised by the reviews we read before ordering, the quality, in any case, was clearly not there for the dishes ordered.
