20/06/2026: We had a wonderful time at Shalimar, an excellent place for Indian/Pakistani food with attentive staff and exquisite dishes.
The only downside: the busy street can sometimes make it difficult to fully enjoy the terrace.

The meal was delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the owner gave us a very warm welcome—he was so kind and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to have a great time and, above all, enjoy a delicious meal. Excellent value for money.

29/06/2026: Lots of flies, and they were attacking us while we were eating, so it wasn't pleasant at all. The menu wasn't clear because we were told an extra portion of rice was €5, but when we asked for a breakdown, it was €6.50. The manager's response was that we weren't going to quibble over €1.50 🤣🤣 Well, screw that, so I wasn't happy and offered the extra rice for free to make up for that comment! Starters like hummus, for example, are served without bread because it's extra (they have to make a killing!). It's like ordering pâté as a starter without bread!
The main courses were poorly presented. Some diners asked for mild dishes, and in the end, their food was super spicy, as was the child's... Honestly, avoid this place. There's no atmosphere, the food quality is mediocre, and the prices are exorbitant! (For those tempted, bring your own bread, a good budget, and a fly swatter 😉)
AVOID AT ALL COSTS because nothing works in this restaurant!!!!
28/06/2026: It took 45 minutes to serve drinks, with appetizers, drinks, and main courses all served at once. The restaurant was infested with flies. There were errors on the menu and at the register. No bread came with the hummus; we were forced to buy naan instead. I do not recommend it.

06/05/2026: I came with my son during a motorcycle road trip where we stopped in Rouen. We found this restaurant by chance. It was very good, they were very attentive, and the atmosphere was nice 😊 I recommend it!
08/03/2026: It's disgusting, seriously!!! I don't even understand how the sanitation department didn't come by!!! And all this just 50 meters from the central police station 🤣🤣🤣🤣

25/06/2024: Aucun intérêt. Rapport qualité prix catastrophique. Les plats en sauce sont hyper épicés, surcuits (combien de temps tout cela reste-t-il dans les bacs ?) et on cherche la viande. Desserts insipides et loin de la gastronomie indienne (des liégeois et Danette en direct du supermarché ?!?!)
Si vous voulez un naan digne de ce nom, c’est en supplément des 20€ déjà versés pour accéder au buffet. Nous n’y retournerons jamais.

Buffet à volonté, y a du choix. Les plats sont bons.
Entrées pas assez froides et plats chauds manque de chaleur.
Peu de desserts mais c'est suffisant.
