La Marie-Jeanne
Allevard
20/10/2026: Positive: Generous portion (breaded Reblochon cheese), good charcuterie, good bread, friendly service.
To improve: I had a long wait, once seated, for my order to be taken (25 minutes); the potatoes were very floury and dry; very little salted caramel on the ice cream.
27/09/2026: A very pleasant chalet-style restaurant. The pizzas are excellent, and the salad is very good and generous. The staff is very friendly. A great place to eat.

Restaurant Le Botafogo
Allevard
17/07/2026: A week ago, I had the pleasure of having lunch at Fogo restaurant, enjoying their set lunch menu featuring their char-grilled chicken. The kitchen and service staff took the time to chat with me and provided exceptionally welcoming service. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, especially considering I went alone.
I highly recommend trying Guillaume Goupil's cuisine, which allowed me to experience profound flavors even in the simplest dishes. I would also like to mention the particularly light and comforting strawberry cake from pastry chef Rémi, which perfectly complemented my lunch.
I will most certainly return and commend the quality of the food and service at this very affordable price.
08/07/2026: Everything is perfect at Fogo. The food is excellent, the welcome is warm and personalized, and the setting is lovely. Well done and thank you!

La Pizza Gourmande
Allevard
12/08/2026: Good evening, passing through for work, I recommend this place. Very good pizzas, generous portions and reasonable prices, very good value for money. Thank you to Houda the cook and the very kind waitress Dina, we had a great time, next time we pass through we will come back.
20/07/2026: In our opinion, the best pizza in the valley, great selection and top quality! The owners and staff are very warm and welcoming!

Les Terrasses Du Collet
Allevard
13/10/2026: After thinking about it, Toni isn't the best, I am.
17/08/2026: The service was mediocre; we ordered food and drinks and had to ask for the table to be cleaned before being served. This should have been done automatically. 👎

L'Escale
Allevard
10/09/2026: Good for having a drink and an ice cream.
03/09/2026: At 3 pm everything is closed even though there are still people on the terrace. We're told they can't serve us drinks on the terrace?!
Strange welcome for a spa town. Never mind, we'll spend our money elsewhere.

Restaurant du Casino Circus d'Allevard
Allevard
03/08/2026: Zero, the manager is a zero, laughing with his team in front of customers, his voice wide open. Not to mention the staff.
27/07/2026: A very nice little casino with a family atmosphere, we loved it 👍

Istanbul Kebab
Allevard
17/08/2026: We regularly order Taco Kebab from this lady. The welcome is always warm and attentive. Thank you!
16/08/2026: This Sunday, August 16th, I was very disappointed with my kebab. I simply asked for white sauce without onions, and I only received the meat, the sauce, and the bread... and for 10 euros! Seriously. I even considered putting some money in your collection for the mosque, but when I saw you doing that, I didn't say anything, I paid, but that was it.

L'Assiette Givrée
Allevard
12/07/2025: This isn't a restaurant but a grocery store; at least, that's how we were greeted. Yet, the grocery store transformed into a restaurant once we left. It just goes to show, the Isère region is magical.

Ferme Auberge du Bessard
Allevard
01/03/2026: The owner was incredibly welcoming and attentive.
A beautiful, peaceful location, perfect for a stopover on the way to the Maurienne ski resorts.
Highly recommended – a fantastic find!
16/11/2025: The owners were very kind. They shared anecdotes, offered attentive service, and provided helpful advice—everything you could hope for from hosts. The cuisine was simple yet delicious, using good ingredients (the walnut tart was excellent). The rooms have been recently renovated.
The location is nestled in a rural setting at the foot of the mountains. It's ideal for relaxing and enjoying peaceful walks.
The only slight drawback was the proximity of the rooms to the common room, which can be noisy.
But overall, it was a very pleasant stay that I would love to repeat in the warmer months.
