Restaurant Le Botafogo sur Allevard

A week ago, I had the pleasure of having lunch at Fogo restaurant, enjoying their set lunch menu featuring their char-grilled chicken. The kitchen and service staff took the time to chat with me and provided exceptionally welcoming service. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, especially considering I went alone. I highly recommend trying Guillaume Goupil's cuisine, which allowed me to experience profound flavors even in the simplest dishes. I would also like to mention the particularly light and comforting strawberry cake from pastry chef Rémi, which perfectly complemented my lunch. I will most certainly return and commend the quality of the food and service at this very affordable price.

Here's a great Parisian spot. Wood-fired cuisine. Beautifully prepared dishes with perfectly controlled cooking. A lovely wine list, featuring classics and some delightful discoveries. A chic yet relaxed atmosphere—if such a thing exists. Warm and professional service. A place well worth a visit.

The steak was delicious but served a little cold The waiter changed his mind about the glass of wine we ordered and brought another wine from an almost empty bottle and the wine was not cold enough. We told him about it
