Well located, cross-country ski center 200m away.

Friendly hosts and excellent food.
The added bonus is the wellness area with sauna and Nordic bath. I highly recommend it.

25/03/2026: We had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel de La Buffe for a company seminar: the rooms were clean and the welcome was warm. We recommend it.
10/03/2026: The hotel is very well located.
The dining room is very nice and we ate very well on the half-board plan.
The room for four people was very nice, spacious and clean.
The pool was a nice touch.
The staff were very polite and helpful, but a little cold or distant.
It was a bit cold in the children's room; we couldn't adjust the temperature, but we put on the fleece blanket and it was fine.
We will come back.

20/02/2026: We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Le Vernay for our February ski holiday. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet, with a cozy and refined atmosphere and all the amenities (ski storage, luggage storage, hairdryer, and toiletries). The staff were very friendly. The hotel is very well located, close to the Nordic center.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The restaurant was excellent.
I highly recommend it.

12/03/2026: This is our second visit with friends, even though six years have passed since our last trip. We are always delighted by the view, the generous portions, and the warm welcome of the owner. If you're looking for a good restaurant with local specialties, whether before or after snowshoeing, skiing, or any other activity, don't hesitate to book a table here.
08/03/2026: An evening shared with our group of friends (11 people) in a magical setting, a warm welcome, a cozy outdoor aperitif, a delicious meal followed by herbal tea and excellent génépi liqueur. We returned via the snow-covered trail, illuminated by torches provided by Le Banc de l'Ours. A huge thank you for allowing us to spend such a wonderful evening with our friends. We highly recommend it. See you soon.

I would just add a few more sun loungers 😊🌞
03/02/2026: As a regular at this refuge, I've never been disappointed. The food is excellent in both summer and winter, with a special mention for the soups, which are perfect when you're cross-country skiing.

08/03/2026: Young, serious, and very welcoming owners. A very friendly waiter, excellent food—a place I highly recommend. The small bar is open late.
06/03/2026: We had lunch at the restaurant in early March. The welcome was excellent, and the dining room was pleasant. The meal was good and plentiful. We ordered a burger, ravioli, and a children's menu. Furthermore, the service was quick. We had a very enjoyable time at Chalet Suisse.

Chalet Hotel Au Feu de Bois

30/08/2024: We stopped at this hotel based on the positive reviews.
We strongly advise you to check the bill before paying it because there were two of us and the price of the room for three was €124 and the owner of the establishment charged us €129, this way of doing things was a big disappointment to us. displeased which will make us change establishments next time.
