We had a two-hour alfresco lunch on our first day to Marseille. Sonia was lively and bubbly and we were delighted to have her to recommend a great salad to go with the bouillabaisse dish. The salad was refreshing and the atmosphere was spot on with live music 💯

A pleasant breakfast was served.
But why is this lovely terrace overlooking the Canebière so neglected? Dirty tables, cushions stained with bird droppings, rotting planters, electrical cables trailing everywhere, questionable flooring, etc.
Sir (or Madam) who runs this establishment, have some pride, for goodness' sake! Welcome your customers to a decent place!

The staff were all very friendly, the food was delicious, the place was clean, and the air conditioning worked well—it was a great experience. Since it gets crowded starting around 12 PM during lunchtime, I recommend going earlier or making a reservation!

The draft is really good, refreshing and not bitter.
Salad was tasty. The chicken entrée was a bit chewy on the thicker side but tender on the thinner side.

Absolutely superb from start to finish! The staff were incredibly attentive, a true delight for the taste buds. The cocktails were excellent, and the homemade iced tea was also delicious! The burrito with melon gazpacho was superb! The bouillabaisse-style fish dishes were excellent, and the tuna steak with its incredible mashed potatoes was simply divine! And what can I say about the Dalloyau pastries? You simply must finish your meal with these marvels! The setting is idyllic; we will definitely be back!

A truly wonderful restaurant in Marseille. The setting is elegant, the welcome warm, and the atmosphere genuinely pleasant.
You can feel the real care put into both the service and the customer experience. It's the perfect place to spend a lovely time, whether for lunch, dinner, or simply enjoying a beautiful setting.
I highly recommend 1860 Le Palais for the quality of the service, the ambiance, and the professionalism of the staff.
