Well located, cross-country ski center 200m away.

Friendly hosts and excellent food.
The added bonus is the wellness area with sauna and Nordic bath. I highly recommend it.

25/03/2026: We had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel de La Buffe for a company seminar: the rooms were clean and the welcome was warm. We recommend it.
10/03/2026: The hotel is very well located.
The dining room is very nice and we ate very well on the half-board plan.
The room for four people was very nice, spacious and clean.
The pool was a nice touch.
The staff were very polite and helpful, but a little cold or distant.
It was a bit cold in the children's room; we couldn't adjust the temperature, but we put on the fleece blanket and it was fine.
We will come back.

20/02/2026: We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Le Vernay for our February ski holiday. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet, with a cozy and refined atmosphere and all the amenities (ski storage, luggage storage, hairdryer, and toiletries). The staff were very friendly. The hotel is very well located, close to the Nordic center.
06/02/2026: The accommodation was very well maintained in an exceptionally peaceful setting.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The restaurant was excellent.
I highly recommend it.

25/03/2026: It's the setting and atmosphere that we appreciate most. The cuisine is simple and suits the location well.
25/03/2026: We had a wonderful evening at Le Banc de l'Ours for a company seminar: a warm welcome on the terrace with its fire pit and lights, delicious fondue, and a great atmosphere. We highly recommend it, even for private events!

25/03/2026: A great place to relax and enjoy a delicious seasonal soup. The owners are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to welcome visitors. It's a shame the shuttle stops running a week after the French school holidays in February/March.

11/04/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant! The welcome was particularly warm and attentive, which immediately put us at ease. The dishes were delicious, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor (with a special mention for the spring rolls). A truly wonderful experience from beginning to end.
It's a great pleasure to see that there are still truly excellent restaurateurs out there.
Thank you again for this wonderful experience! We will definitely be back!

Chalet Hotel Au Feu de Bois

18/03/2026: Excellent value for money. The rooms are large with high ceilings. Good quality bedding. No noise.
The welcome is friendly and the food is excellent (both the breakfast buffet and the evening meal). Nordic ski area within walking distance, downhill ski resort 10 minutes by car. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.
16/03/2026: We had a wonderful stay in an exceptional setting.
The welcome was incredibly warm and made us feel right at home. The room was spotless, everything was tastefully decorated, and it was a pleasure to return to the hotel after a long day of hiking.
Don't hesitate to opt for half-board; the meals are excellent, cooked with love, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Special mention also goes to the breakfast. A family atmosphere and guaranteed relaxation.
The hosts are very friendly, and it's a pleasure to chat with them—no judgment, no pressure. Everything is natural.
I'm off to look at and think about our next booking because we will definitely be back in Autrans, and nowhere else but at the wood-burning stove!
