08/09/2024: We had dinner at Au bois flotté this evening. Starter was a green salad with dried meat and goat cheese with honey... Then moules frittes with grogonzola and mint and for dessert the pineapple creation. Accompanied by house red wine. Everything fresh and homemade and super delicious! Clear recommendation from us 👍🏻
08/09/2024: I ordered 2 takeaway pizzas to eat at the seaside. When I arrive at the seaside, I open the boxes and realize that the pizzas are not cut... I go back to the pizzeria and ask for a knife, they offer me a wooden knife, I'm afraid it won't hold up and ask if they can lend me a real knife which I bring back right after. The manager, who speaks to me informally (I'm over 40), tells me no because she doesn't trust me to bring him back... She suggested I buy a pizza cutter (yes yes). I ask her why she doesn't pre-cut the pizzas by default because it goes without saying that the customer will need to eat it (whether it's by the sea or at home), she replies "uh it's more easy to reheat the next day. Eh ? What is she saying? Really in bad faith. I tell myself that we're going nowhere and tell her "ok, thank you goodbye" and she doesn't miss a beat to respond in a disdainful tone "yes that's it... have a good evening..." In short, it was a summer evening, there were a lot of people that evening, so there are extenuating circumstances but respect for the customer is still the basis of business. To be fair: - the pizzas are very good - the wooden knife was finally strong enough to cut In short, cut your takeaway pizzas by default, no one will blame you... it's 10 seconds more per pizza (sorry...) but we're all happy to find our pizza cut when we open the box.
