05/01/2026: An hour after eating, my partner and I had to take turns using the restroom (we had severe diarrhea), which made us question the hygiene. There were also many midges in the restaurant, buzzing around our food. I strongly advise against going there if you don't want to have a very unpleasant day. The only positive point was that the waitresses were friendly.
04/01/2026: The best Japanese restaurant of my life, and I've tried quite a few! Passing through Poitiers, we made a reservation, and luckily we did because it was completely full. We figured it was a sure sign of a good place!
From the soup to the mochi, the flavors were insane. A real treat that will definitely bring me back soon! The waitress and the owner are incredibly friendly and always smiling! A fantastic spot in a very pretty city center, even in January when it's -2°C. See you soon!

28/02/2026: I agree with the other comments: the wait was far too long for no good reason.
I arrived around 7:45 pm with my group and ordered three appetizers: miso soup, fried chicken, and plain rice. I doubt it would take long to prepare three appetizers.
Yet, I waited at least half an hour before I could eat the rice because, as they said, "it's a main course," so I assume they were waiting for me to finish my soup. But in that case, I'd like an explanation for why they included a main course among the appetizers.
If someone in my group hadn't made an explicit comment about the excessively long wait, we would certainly have waited at least an hour. An hour before we could eat the main course, even though we had already finished the appetizers.
Also, I think it's better to serve the rice (plain, I remind you) WITH the soup or the chicken, but never on its own.
In short, this is a restaurant to choose if you have time to kill, though it's quiet. The quality isn't necessarily worth the time wasted, but it's not terrible either.

08/02/2026: Just a small sign saying it's closed, nothing on Google Maps. I hope it's closed for good. A wasted trip. To respond to the owner's ridiculous reply, update Google Maps, for example. Since you're able to reply, updating the opening status shouldn't be any more difficult.
