15/05/2024: A rather unlikely restaurant in this small village, where the chef seeks to please, researches and innovates, while maintaining traditional dishes. I tasted the gravlax roll which was quite attractive on the menu, but which unfortunately turned out to be overloaded with small Chinese pastes, too modest rectangles of gravlax and flavors and chewiness lacking in contrast and surprise. The foie gras taken by another person accompanying me was a little too oxidized, which means both a slightly darker color (which tends towards gray) on the periphery of the slice and a taste that is too strong and pronounced. . This is always the risk when we offer this dish which does not stand the test of time. For my part, I had a trilogy of fish as a main course, of which I would have appreciated less cooking. It was accompanied by small, well-made vegetables and a rather pleasant and original sauce. Among the other guests, there was an excellent piece of Angus and an extremely delicious Pavlova. The wine list is interesting and well-stocked; at reasonable prices. Allow at least 40 euros per person for a complete menu with wine. The service is efficient and correct; nothing more. Still worth testing because the menu seems to change every week!
