21/08/2024: Discovery of this restaurant during our stop in this charming village of Gourdon.
Despite our "late" arrival at 8:40 p.m., we set up a table for 2 and...we had a blast!!!
We see that the chef (and his team) are enjoying their kitchen!
Tuna tataki with chorizo mayonnaise and summer vegetables.
Caesar salad with chicken with homemade breading, delicious sauce, good pieces of cheese.
Desserts! Mmmmmmmm
Lavender financier with peach and lavender cream.
A killing, a discovery! Well done!
Raspberry/coconut dessert, not sweet, very well balanced.
And everything... plentiful.
In short, we had a blast!!
In addition, the service is done with a smile and is efficient despite the crowds of a summer evening.
And..the Q/P ratio is more than reasonable.
In short...go there with your eyes closed!

23/09/2024: I ate here last night as part of a very large group. Considering the size of our party I was extremely impressed. The pizza was amazingly good. Really as good as anything I have ever had in Italy or UK. And the service was also great, impressively handled mainly by one extremely hard working and efficient person. Strongly recommended.

22/08/2024: Romantic dinner on the terrace on Gourdon Thursdays.
Very good meal, excellent beef skewer and gourmet salad. All washed down with an excellent Cahors.
More than special mention for the service: it has been a long time since we have encountered such a professional and efficient server, both for advice and for service.
Compliments to the chef and well done Mr Pascal 😊
22/08/2024: Alors si vous aimez les pièges à touristes ou si vous êtes amoureux de la serveuse vous êtes au bon endroit… disons que les pizzas sont cher et pas terrible. Pour ce qui est du filet mignon à 20 balles il n’y ni la quantité ni la qualité idem pour les pseudos frittes qui l’accompagnent. Et pour finir quand vous passerez en caisse n’attendez pas de pouvoir écouler votre cagnotte de titre restaurant! Et si vous payez en CB n’attendez pas vous faire copain avec le patron qui estime se faire trousser par les banques… bref pour ma part c’était la première et sera la dernière !

20/08/2024: Very welcoming place. Despite the fact that we arrived at almost 10 p.m., they agreed to serve us food. The atmosphere was superb. The room was very comfortable and with a lovely view of the square the next morning. Breakfast was also very nice. This is what sums up our pleasant and welcoming stay.

Des échanges sympathiques tout au long de la soirée avec notre hôte et d'autres convives. Merci encore.
29/08/2024: Seduced by the cuisine using food delivered by local producers, we booked a few days in advance by telephone, and the owner asked us about what our daughters were eating, or what to avoid.
We were surprised to see so few people in this gourmet restaurant after the dinner we had.
I let myself be tempted by the surprise menu, and I asked for a house cocktail, which was concocted for me as a supply.
From cocktails to dessert, we enjoyed superb products, very well cooked. Perfect cooking skills, and even my daughters' puree was to die for.
The owner may seem a little cold at first, but ultimately friendly, with a desire to please with his cooking.
Please note, no credit card reader. Arrange for payment by check or cash.
I only regret not knowing such a restaurant near us.

29/08/2024: Hello, you were right, the law does not require you to accept that my 4 year old daughter uses your toilet. Only common sense and amphaticism hold on to it. The vulgarity of your team as well as yourself was not necessary either. You were within your rights for your refusal, however, you are a detestable character and your staff is in your image. By the way, I had to change my daughter who urinated on herself. Yours truly.

We felt like we were bothering everyone.

15/08/2023: We do not recommend this establishment not for the cuisine but for the welcome, the atmosphere and the value for money.
The manager huffed every time she had to serve us. She refused us to use the lunch card because they charge 10%. Not at all friendly and no dessert menu with prices indicated, useful for running up the bill. Really disappointed
