29/01/2026: Excellent restaurant, a wonderful discovery, very pleasant. Excellent cuisine, a very warm welcome, and very friendly staff. We had a lovely evening. The restaurant has a magnificent decor, with sumptuous stone walls. It was very pleasant and convivial. I recommend it 100%. 🥰

However, the chef was unpleasant. We could hear him insulting his waitress!
14/10/2025: We ordered calzones to go, and to our surprise, they were burnt on top and the dough was half-raw.
We got sick from the indigestion of these calzones.
Very disappointed, and I do not recommend them.☹️

19/08/2024: Service more than questionable bordering on unpleasant even if the cuisine enhances the experience. The knife tartare remains an excellent experience despite the tasteless fries.
04/08/2024: The food was great, the meat was nicely seasoned. The fries were also tasty. The service was good. The atmosphere could be improved, but it was still cozy.

14/08/2024: Deux menus à 27€ et 40€ très copieux et assez créatif. Service qui tient le choc malgré la forte fréquentation du mois d’août. Un cadre plutôt agréable dans une salle moderne en bord de Dordogne.

But instead, the owner no sign of politeness who on top of that annoys her husband I suppose.
Madam, if we don't like the customers given the other comments, why open a restaurant?

08/09/2024: A friendly moment in a little corner found by chance. The food is very good, the service attentive and smiling, an outdated decor but does not bother in any way, on the contrary. The price is more than reasonable when you have a quality product like this.

23/07/2025: We stumbled upon this essential spot by chance to warm up from the rainy weather. We were immediately won over by the small tea shop, divided into three sections: shop, kitchen, and tea room. Everything has been carefully and tastefully designed to give that cozy English feel that feels good! Scones are a must-try. We'll definitely have fond memories of our stay at Melkior.

15/11/2023: I'm in this college and it's okay, it's modern, the teachers are nice but they put in too much homework, the food isn't great but it's still okay. Still things to improve
31/10/2023: Mauvaise college! Il n'y a pas de la communication entre les eleves . Pas dans un bon etat . Salle de course est tres chaud et un peu casser !!! Pleine des greves

27/08/2024: Terrasse privée, à l'ombre d'une immense Glycine qui couvre et protège du soleil 😚Serveur très agréable, efficace .... souriant ! Servis rapidement ! En dessert,on a pris un Tiramisu, délicieux !😁
