09/03/2026: A warm welcome, impeccable service, and excellent northern cuisine. Pure bliss!
08/03/2026: Last night, the locals had organized a "couscous" evening, and needless to say, we were there. We enjoyed a generous portion of couscous with three kinds of meat. The meats were delicious, the semolina was prepared with just the right amount of spices, and to finish, there was a Pavlova, a light and refreshing dessert with red berries, grapefruit, and whipped cream, all on a meringue base – the perfect way to end a good meal.

20/09/2025: We ate at La Gabare last night with my partner and her mother. It's always so good and plentiful. The restaurant is for sale, I hope it's just a passing idea because we would miss the kindness, the atmosphere, the quality of the dishes and their great generosity. It's the second time I've had the mountain burger and I'm enjoying it so much that I hope to be able to eat more next year. And if the restaurant sells anyway, we'll follow Cathy, the owner, in her projects which we hope won't be too far off.
15/09/2025: A very warm welcome, restaurant with a view of the Dordogne. I ordered the vegan platter ☺️ it was amazing with the mint sauce, I loved it. A very generous and delicious portion. Highly recommended!

12/10/2025: A very nice idea, no doubt. We booked a Gaulish-themed evening for August 29th. On the scheduled day, the capricious weather put an end to the event. That same morning, we all received a message informing us of the cancellation, which seemed perfectly reasonable. It stated that the refund would be processed within four days. A few weeks later, without any refund, I contacted Saveurs d'Uxellodunum again. No answer to calls and no reply to messages. Nearly two months after the missed meal, two promises of a refund later, still nothing. A group of non-refunded participants has formed, and a complaint has been filed. Regardless of the sums involved, silence and disdain are the worst possible response to customers. The appealing concept, while certainly attractive, can quickly turn into disappointment if there's a hitch in the process.
