14/08/2026: The location is ideal, near the Loire River. The air-conditioned dining room made for a pleasant meal. However, the wait for our food was unusually long, even though the restaurant wasn't full. The manager offered no apology for this, which was a shame. The pizzas are good and generous. The fries aren't homemade. The prices are reasonable, but the quality isn't great.

14/08/2026: An hour and fifteen minutes between our aperitif and main course, despite a prior phone reservation and a relatively simple menu, seemed excessive for just two pizzas. There was no apology or explanation for the wait, and the staff seemed completely indifferent (even getting a carafe of water while we waited required us to go to the counter). When we pointed out this dishonesty at the checkout, politely mentioning that we might hear issues in the kitchen or service area even though the restaurant wasn't crowded, the waitress seemed to lose her composure and laughed in our faces. She went to the kitchen to ask if a discount was possible, and we could hear their argument. The waitress returned, saying, "He's not even going to apologize." I informed her that their disagreement should remain between them and not in front of other customers, but she persisted. Very disappointed.
