Les meilleurs restaurants en Sainte-Menehould

01/10/2026: I parked in this parking lot, or what's left of it, because at first glance I thought it was an abandoned place. This woman came running up to the truck and asked me what I was doing there. I stupidly told her I had a 30-minute break, and she said it was closed. (Yet there was a truck parked there!) I asked her what was closed, and she told me about her restaurant! I hadn't even noticed it was a restaurant; it's such a small place! What an awful person! I really wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Please drive a few more kilometers and you'll find much nicer places in Sainte-Menehould. It's not worth stopping here just to be spoken to so rudely. If this place is private, then please indicate it with signs. And I would have gladly been your customer, but for that to happen, you would have had to be open so I could have had a coffee and a snack. It was only 2:30 PM. Your days are certainly short for a truck driver. I understand perfectly well that in your eyes, we're nothing but walking wallets, and to get our money, do we even have to work?

18/09/2026: Great experience, our first time at this roadside restaurant and we'll definitely be back. Warm welcome and excellent food. Highly recommended.

21/05/2026: I booked a set menu for an overnight stay. I sat down at 7 pm. I left the table at 11 pm; they had completely forgotten my starter and dessert. The food itself was good, but the apologies were weak. I found the service very disappointing.

07/05/2026: Here are a few definitions that some staff members clearly need to review at the start of the day: "Respect: a feeling that leads one to show consideration for someone because of the value one recognizes in them." "Professionalism: the professional nature of an activity." "Courtesy: refined politeness." Unfortunately, none of these concepts seemed to be present during our visit. The attitude of some employees was particularly inappropriate, with an unpleasant tone and completely unsuitable behavior towards customers. I very rarely leave negative reviews, let alone one-star reviews, but this experience was truly shameful. A minimum of respect and courtesy should be the foundation of any establishment open to the public. It is unacceptable to treat customers this way.

06/10/2026: Not great, the dining room is small with too many booths; if you're seated at the back and it's crowded, it's a real struggle to get to the restroom. I ordered a medium-rare hanger steak and received a rare one. The staff were friendly, but the price of the meal didn't reflect the quality. Disappointing

20/08/2026: Arrived just before 2pm. Their website clearly states open till 3. People were in the restaurant still being served food and we were told food was ‘finished’. It appears previous reviews are correct and they are not interested in new customers! Very short sighted. Extremely unwelcoming owner. I wish her luck in keeping the business alive!
