30/08/2026: La Taverne in Daon is the place to go if you're looking for authentic and generous food. Everything is homemade, and you can taste it from the first bite.
Their crêpes are delicious, the wood-fired meat is a real treat, and I especially recommend the snails, which are simply divine.
The welcome is warm and the setting is perfect for a great time. Go for it without hesitation!
17/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Taverne de Daon. The sausages were delicious and served with exquisite fries, absolutely perfect and crispy. A special mention goes to the fresh green beans with butter – an absolute treat! All washed down with a good bottle of sweet cider. The ideal place for a delicious meal; we highly recommend it, and the value for money is unbeatable.

17/05/2026: Great little grocery store, especially for those like me who work while traveling in my camper van. You can order pastries the day before, plus everything else you need in the grocery section when I stay in Daon for the weekend, not forgetting the bar 😉

28/08/2024: L’endroit, au bord de la Mayenne, est très agréable.
Les planchas sont composées de viandes excellentes et en quantité très généreuse. Je recommande particulièrement la plancha de bœuf.
Les frites sont délicieuses et croustillantes, comme on n’en voit plus que rarement.
Le personnel est très agréable et le patron est très accueillant et souriant.
L’expérience était si réussie que nous y sommes retournés le lendemain en y emmenant nos enfants et petits enfants.
Adresse que je recommande tout particulièrement et où vous trouverez un rapport qualité/prix exceptionnel.
