24/02/2024: Stop for refueling on the boat... it was July and we stayed two days to repeat the experience. Know this! You eat like a king
03/02/2024: If you are in Macinaggio, La Vela d'Oro is a must stop. The seafood is so fresh, portions are huge, preparation is delicious, and the service is wonderful. We were in town for 2 nights in the off-season and dined here both nights, our server Gaelle was excellent and had great recommendations for the menu. We were recommended here by a tour guide and our hotel and I am so glad we took the recommendation, we would happily return!

The St Pierre dish with its grilled vegetables was very good and well presented. The homemade chocolate mousse was eaten. The service provided by two very friendly young people.
