La taverne
Calais
29/08/2026: Popped in for a drink just before closing, wasn’t much else open in the area and the gentleman stayed open and was very welcoming for the 5 of us (3 people 2 dogs)
19/05/2026: A very good meal with friends; the manager has a great sense of humor and is very kind. Everything is homemade: delicious!
I'll definitely go back and I highly recommend it.
The place has a British feel; I was pleasantly surprised!

Restaurant Marrakech
Calais
15/09/2026: Visit this restaurant couple of weeks ago from UK food was tasty.
12/09/2026: The food has a very mild flavour and the couscous has nome at all, even the vegetables themselves didn't pack any flavour. The dishes were very oily and watery at the same time meaning that they washed out what little flavour there was. For a cuisine that is normally packed with flavour, this came as a disappointing shock.
