10/02/2026: Reply to the owner: I understand the difference between white bread and organic dark bread. However, I'm wondering which one is hard? I apologize that my photography skills (or Instagram filter application skills) aren't up to scratch, but yes, it was definitely mold. And if it wasn't mold, how come we were given a discount on drinks? Your comments are very vague and contradictory... Original comment: The service was okay. A young woman who seemed overwhelmed. Here's where things get complicated: Savoyard fondue with... moldy bread. The first round was hard but okay. The second round was... greenish. Moldy bread, perfect. When it came time to pay, we asked for a discount, because three times €24 for a fondue with moldy bread is simply unacceptable. "Oh, there's nothing I can do," in the end we didn't pay for the drinks, after two people made a scene and posted a negative Google review. Here it is. You're better off getting a sandwich at the bakery and a beer at the bar next door. 1 star because 0 doesn't work.

30/01/2026: A gamble, as we just wanted to have a nice meal out for the last day of our holiday. We underestimated how good this restaurant is. Reasonably priced for Val Thorens, with delicious pizzas. Nice and thin with plenty of toppings. Recommended to make a reservation! We've already put this restaurant on our list for our next skiing trip. Thanks!
