Les meilleurs restaurants en Etain

26/03/2026: I was excited to spend a night at the Hotel La Sirène during a business trip and enjoy its restaurant. I called several days in advance to make a reservation. Twice I spoke to a gentleman who told me he wasn't there and couldn't take my reservation. He assured me, however, that he had rooms available and that I could be accommodated. So, I arrived at the hotel on Thursday evening at 6:15 PM to find the doors locked and all the shutters closed. I called the hotel twice, but there was no answer. I had to drive an extra 35 km to find another hotel. You won't get my money. Appalling service.

18/02/2026: This restaurant was recommended to me, and I appreciated the rustic charm and warm atmosphere. The menu was appealing, and the dishes were truly delicious. Unfortunately, I found a long hair in my food twice, which spoiled the experience. These are situations that shouldn't happen in a kitchen, and it's all the more disappointing because the food was otherwise excellent. However, I must commend the professionalism of the waitress, who seemed embarrassed and offered a gesture of goodwill at the end of the meal, which we appreciated. Despite everything, we had a pleasant evening, but this unfortunate incident will unfortunately discourage us from returning. I sincerely hope this review will be taken constructively and will encourage us to be even more attentive in the future.
