18/09/2026: The staff are friendly, the food is good quality, and it's right at the foot of the old town center. I'll definitely be back for a galette in the evening and a salad at lunchtime... All generous portions 😉
28/08/2026: I visited on January 23rd, so imagine, only two shops and two restaurants were open 🤦. But... it was a great find! The pasta was absolutely delicious; after so many cookies, it tasted heavenly. The service was excellent, super friendly, attentive, and kind. Obviously, it was packed, but the value for money was fantastic. I travel by motorhome. Thanks, and happy travels! 🚐💪

12/05/2026: Passing through Malestroit, we checked restaurant reviews and ended up at Le Jardin de Tirpen.
We weren't disappointed at all, quite the opposite!
The owners are very friendly; the food is delicious (everything is homemade), and all served with good humor and smiles!
We wish you a wonderful and well-deserved retirement!

15/09/2026: The service was very good, but the atmosphere was unsettling. The open kitchen was noisy, with the chef yelling at his assistants, while the waiters, always smiling, created a tense atmosphere created by the owner, even though they did their job very well.
Good luck to the waiters.
It's not easy working in these conditions.

Positive points:
The friendly waitress
The coffee
The speculoos cookies
The water
That's it.
Otherwise, the rest wasn't great. The starter wasn't cooked enough and wasn't even lukewarm.
The main courses were bland and the sauces were strange.
Total disappointment.

21/08/2026: We tried the pizzas there in August 2025. The pizzas were okay, nothing special. However, the air conditioning was already broken, and the room was stiflingly hot. Returning to this pizzeria this year, we were told there was a recent problem with the air conditioning; we pointed out that the problem must have been going on for over a year… If only that were all… We ordered a bottle of chilled Italian rosé, and were served a Cabernet Sauvignon that was supposedly straight from the fridge… even though the bottle was at room temperature. We weren't even told they were out of Italian wine. The waitress insisted the bottle was chilled… we took out some ice cubes, and we heard her say, “Damn it!” I'll just briefly mention the quality of the pizzas: a disaster. The ingredients aren't even fit for dog food, the artichokes are tough and fresh from the pickle, and the ham looks like it came straight from the Tricastel factory (for those who know the reference), just like the rest of the ingredients… In short, run away and buy yourself a decent sandwich…

27/08/2026: The prices displayed are incorrect. The excuse is that he hasn't received the new price lists yet. -) It's not our problem.
24/08/2026: The kebab was very good, although the Algerian sauce was served on the fries and salad, and there were no red onions. The fries were a bit of a letdown.
