26/04/2026: After several stays at La Grange de Condé, we are unfortunately increasingly disappointed, as the quality seems to decline with each visit.
Upon arrival, in bright sunshine, we were informed that the outdoor area was closed, even though it was prominently featured on Instagram. There was also a party taking place in the reception hall, generating significant noise during the night, without us being informed of this upon arrival (and this isn't the first time).
The bedding was disastrous: very uncomfortable, with visible stains on the mattress. The housekeeping also left much to be desired, with, in particular, unemptied trash in the room.
Finally, when we reported all these issues to reception at the end of our stay, we were simply told that the information would be passed on, without any compensation despite our loyalty.
We are very disappointed with this experience and no longer find the quality we had previously appreciated.
24/04/2026: I left the hotel quite disappointed after a romantic stay in a suite.
The room was very pretty, and there was a bottle of champagne as agreed, but I didn't see any particularly romantic welcome, perhaps the petals placed on the bed...
Upon arrival at the spa, the water was cold, the footbath didn't work, and it was quite difficult to get hot water in the shower... a couple was having sex in the jacuzzi, but obviously that's not the hotel's fault, just a lack of consideration... youthful indiscretions. So, there was no way I was going to use it.
The flotation tank wasn't clean, full of sand at the bottom.
The sauna was perfect, no complaints there, but we couldn't even use the hammam, again because of that young couple.
The restaurant was very good, with generous portions, but the dishes were served quickly, accompanied by unpleasant remarks from the waiter about us going outside for a smoke and about how tired I looked. In short, you come to relax, not to be judged. Leaving the hotel, I recounted my ordeal. They offered me a bottle of water as compensation, so I left with two 50cl bottles of water, nursing my bitterness.
The quality of service has certainly changed in 15 years. I feel I paid far too much to be disappointed and not at all relaxed.
I certainly won't be returning; it's a shame, months of savings wasted.
