26/04/2026: After dining at Auberge Katz, the experience is definitely worth highlighting.
The service is excellent: efficient, unpretentious, and with genuine attention to the customer. You quickly feel at ease in a simple yet refined atmosphere.
As for the cuisine, the establishment offers four different menus, each with a choice of two starters and two main courses, ensuring there's something to please every palate. The dessert menu is also extensive. All the ingredients are fresh, and this is immediately apparent on the plate. Special mention goes to the foie gras, which is simply superb.
The inn also offers an asparagus menu, clearly a house specialty, which is well worth trying. All the dishes are homemade, with authentic and expertly prepared flavors.
In short, it's a very good compromise between fine dining and efficient service, with the food offering excellent value for money.
We will gladly return.

24/05/2026: Excellent meal with a lovely team (🫶🏻 on the incredibly sweet owner!). No compromises on service, quality, or smiles, even though we were a huge group. A fantastic place!

06/06/2026: We ended up here by chance today. In the late afternoon, the only options were burgers or salads. Grateful to finally have something to eat, we ordered a vegetarian burger with fries. We only had still water to drink. The service was very friendly. They also speak German. I happened to notice empty ice cream cups at the next table and asked about them. Desserts were, of course, also available. So today I had the most delicious ice cream of my life. Three scoops: chocolate, amarena cherry, and raspberry with whipped cream. Beautifully prepared and very generous. My husband had cherry cake with a scoop of pistachio ice cream and whipped cream. The cakes are homemade and served warm. Absolutely divine. We're only in the area for a week, but we'll definitely be back. They're only open for lunch on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; they're closed in the evenings.
31/05/2026: The cleanliness left much to be desired. Seated under a tent in front of the restaurant, we had to endure the smell of dog and cat urine. The dishes weren't exactly spotless (lipstick on the coffee cup, etc.). The dishes offered were completely uninspired… we can do better at home! The service could have been friendlier and more pleasant… there was clearly some disagreement between the waitresses. Not great!
Poor value for money (dishes at €20, Mother's Day menu over €40).
In short, very disappointing for all of us.

13/07/2024: Endroit magnifique avec très belle vue, le restaurant est très propre, décoré avec goûts, aucun point négatif à mon goût! Je reviendrai avec plaisir ! La cuisine était excellente, les prix sont très corrects et la serveuse très professionnelle ! Je recommande !
31/05/2024: Nous sommes venus pour déjeuner entre amis le mercredi 29 juin 2024 dans ce bel établissement avec une vue imprenable du massif forestier !
Accueil chaleureux, avec une bonne cuisine traditionnelle !
Nos plats étaient goûteux !
Nous avons passé un bon moment convivial !
