26/09/2023: A wonderful little campsite. With very nice owners. However, if you don't like chickens, you should stay away! They're running around everywhere here. And it's a joy to watch the cattle! I will probably spend a few days here on every trip to France in the future!

21/09/2023: Small, charming campsite in a very quiet location directly on the Canal du Nivernais, surrounded by meadows and pastures. Idyllic location and friendly, casual, unconventional atmosphere. Ideal for a relaxing holiday in nature. I would almost describe the place as an insider tip. We went on great, long bike rides along the canal and into the surrounding area, which were also manageable without an electric drive. The outdated sanitary facilities have been renovated since our last stay and are kept very clean by the new operators. A real upgrade that you can appreciate as a guest. Thank you for the wonderful vacation, we would love to come back!

18/09/2023: Passing through on a Sunday evening we were able to eat there without reservation. On the other hand, it closes definitively in October 2023.

29/08/2023: We ate at the tavern at the port of Chaumot during our cycling trip along the Nivernais canal. We were delighted!! Delicious, whether it's the children's or adults' menu. Extra service, kindness, smile. I recommend with my eyes closed!!
