03/04/2026: We went for dinner last night at this restaurant, recently taken over (about seven months ago) by Christa and David, and what a wonderful discovery!
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with kindness and attentive service.
The menu is a real success: we especially enjoyed the truffle ravioli...pure bliss!
From the aperitif to the dessert, everything was perfect for a truly excellent experience.
A big congratulations to Christa and David on this very promising new venture!
We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant.

07/03/2026: Beautiful setting, lovely presentation, it was good, however, the service was lacking. She didn't offer us the gin-based cocktail I requested, even though I asked for one with a side dish she could suggest. The same goes for the suggested dishes; we saw them before leaving, and I had to ask for wine myself because she hadn't asked me about drinks with our meal. So, the service needs improvement, please. All servers should be familiar with your products, menus, and suggestions. Otherwise, everything else was fine.
01/03/2026: A lovely place with great food. The waitresses are incredibly friendly and pleasant! I'll be back.

06/04/2026: I'm changing my review because the main issue is that the waitress was cleaning the tables with her spray bottle right next to our table while we hadn't finished eating. I find that a bit annoying. Otherwise, it's a very good restaurant, from the steak and fries 🍟 to the dessert 🍨, a real treat, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it.

17/01/2026: Another resounding success for La Bascule Caudry! 😍 My son said as we left, "See, I told you it was amazing!" 😍 We have a fantastic meal every time! The waitresses are friendly and helpful! We'll definitely be back! 🤩 Okay, the only downside to the restaurant is the unlit and rather inconvenient parking lot... full of potholes and bumps... and the same goes for the restaurant itself, where the lighting is poor (we had a visually impaired person eating).
15/01/2026: Very disappointed with our last visit.
We waited 40 minutes to be served.
A children's meal arrived: pasta with minced steak.
The pasta arrived with 2 cm of water in the bowl-shaped dish.
It was sent back to the kitchen.
It came back cold and in one solid block (no oil).
We couldn't even get a drink.
I have a lot of reviews on Google, and this is one of the first times I've posted such a negative review. Something to think about for next time.

30/03/2026: Disastrous! We ordered vegetarian food, and to our surprise, nothing was vegetarian. Everything was meat... I can understand that it's poorly labeled because the receipts say VG, not Veggie, so I think in the rush, it wasn't obvious to the employees.
But can you imagine the money wasted when we got home? Everything was meat. And it's not the first time. By the time we asked for an exchange, everything else was cold... Terribly disappointed.
27/03/2026: Waiting...waiting and more waiting. The least fast food around. In winter, there's not enough heating, we eat with our coats on, and in summer the air conditioning is too strong, we freeze inside... I often get sick from the sundaes and McFlurries...not always, but about half the time. It's March and they still have their Christmas decorations on the roof?

Intoxication allimantaire pour 2 personnes chez moi.
16/05/2024: Franchement pas terrible
C est du décongelé et haut goût et a la cuisson ce n est vraiment pas bon je n y retournerai plus il vaut mieux payer plus cher et mieux manger
