La Taverne
Roncq
26/09/2026: Very good, I recommend it. Excellent menu.
22/07/2026: There were three of us, and we ordered a Welsh rarebit, a Potjevleesch, and a steak tartare. The Potjevleesch was homemade and delicious. The Welsh rarebit was very generous, and the steak tartare had freshly ground meat. In short, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Excellent value for money, well done! 👏

24/09/2026: The food was very good. But it was a bit noisy with the groups of people who came to eat.

Le Chalet de la Pepiniere

06/10/2026: We celebrated my mother's 80th birthday on October 3rd… The tables were beautifully arranged… The weather was lovely, and we were also able to enjoy the garden!
Our waiter and waitress provided excellent service and a warm welcome! They were very attentive to our comfort and meticulous in serving drinks and food! As for the food, we had a wonderful surf and turf starter with delicious salmon and foie gras! The main course buffet featured perfectly cooked beef, chicken waterzooi with mushrooms and a divine sauce, and a seafood platter with dauphinoise potatoes, ratatouille, or spinach as sides! The dessert buffet included pastries, fruit salad, and a chocolate fountain!
Truly a wonderful experience!
Bravo!
16/09/2026: Following our wedding at this magnificent venue on September 12th, we wanted to sincerely thank you for your warm welcome, dedication, and excellent service. The father, son, servers, and the entire team took exceptional care of us throughout the evening! From the appetizers to dessert, everything was PERFECT! The food was of high quality, the team was close-knit and contributed to the wonderful atmosphere, and a special mention goes to the waitress who graced the dance floor with her best moves. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We will definitely recommend your services to future brides and grooms. Thank you to the whole team. The Sicari Family.

26/09/2026: The butcher's cut was too small.
09/07/2026: Wonderful place, excellent cuisine, very friendly welcome, and to top it all off, a most peaceful garden/terrace… Thank you to the team!

Boulangerie Ange Roncq

17/09/2026: Although the welcome was charming and the food looked appetizing, I was disappointed with the American filet sandwich; the portion size was disappointing. They stretched the filet so thin that there wasn't enough raw vegetables. I hope they'll fix that... As for something sweet, the chocolate chip muffin was perfect!
10/09/2026: Good bakery.
Friendly and clean staff.

Le Phoenix

04/10/2026: We arrived at 1:45 PM.
We had time to get settled, order drinks, and help ourselves to the cold appetizers. Then we moved on to the hot dishes, and to our surprise, there was no one left to cook the meat, fish, and vegetables in the wok or on the griddle. The reason given was that they stopped cooking at 2:30 PM (there was no indication of when this would happen, despite the plates still being well-stocked with raw meat and fish).
We had to make do with what little remained of the cooked dishes, which were practically empty.
The cheese was piled high on a plate without cutlery.
We managed to get some dessert in time, but the ice cream was soft (was it a cold chain issue?).
Then, as we were finishing our meal, someone came and took away our glasses and plates right in front of us—not very customer-friendly!
And all this with rather unpleasant staff, which is a real shame... Disappointing...
28/09/2026: The food is good, the price affordable, only one negative experience one evening when the buffet was sparsely stocked. Many people were waiting for their food!

Maar helaas voorgoed gesloten sinds maart 2023.

Casa Mia

29/10/2025: A ridiculously small individual pizza for €11... More dough than anything else, soggy, like bread dough... you have to search for the ingredients...
The staff were unfriendly and disorganized.
For that price, just 500m away, Pizza du Blanc Four offers a decent pizza, crispy and generous, with fast and quality service. I won't be back.

20/02/2026: I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. The room was dirty, with dust under the bed and dead leaves under the shelves. There was no heating, and the room was freezing cold. Furthermore, the manager and her employee were cleaning at night, moving furniture and vacuuming at 2:00 AM. We were exhausted and left the room to tell them we couldn't sleep with the noise. The cleaning lady tried to assault me, insulting me and saying I was high, which I wasn't at all; I was on crutches and I'm disabled. I wanted to file a complaint for physical assault. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. The staff is disrespectful, it's filthy, and there are insults. My boyfriend went to lunch, but I refused; there was practically nothing to eat.
So I strongly advise against this hotel, and I would NEVER go back, even for free.
IT'S A SHAME, AVOID AT ALL COSTS...
