16/05/2026: A loyal customer… but disappointed this year. The legendary waiter is no longer there. While the savory buckwheat crepes are still as good as ever, the sweet crepes are no longer so: dry and cardboard-like. I hope the change of ownership between father and son explains this dip and that the exceptional quality will soon return.

Ultimately, we were disappointed; the Flemish carbonnade wasn't really carbonnade at all... The beef was very dry and the sauce much too thin. I'm only giving it 4 stars because of the waiter, who was truly very pleasant.

The service seemed a bit disorganized, and when I pointed out that the portion of fries was rather small, I was offered more, but at an extra cost. I found this a shame, especially since the portions used to be much more generous. Another negative point: the red wine was served much too warm, probably around 25°C, when it should be served between 16 and 18°C ​​to be enjoyed properly. Everything was delicious; we savored flavors that truly awakened our taste buds. Don't hesitate to go, and like us, you'll want to return. The price is between €80 and €90 for two people, including an aperitif, wine, starter, main course, and dessert. Reasonable for such a high-quality meal.

24/04/2026: We came as a family during the kite festival, and all the restaurants were packed. The waiter kindly arranged our table for nine on the terrace, but we had a wonderful time. The food was simple but good, excellent value for money, and the sunny terrace was lovely. The waiters were very friendly and attentive! I highly recommend it!
