17/08/2026: Disappointing from start to finish.
The welcome was appalling, the staff nonchalant, and the manager's attitude extremely aggressive, accompanied by completely inappropriate remarks.
The food was just as disappointing: frankly disgusting, undercooked, and tasteless. I deliberately ordered mussels marinière, thinking I was getting a classic that was hard to mess up. Another huge disappointment: very little broth, mussels full of sand, and a bland sauce. The Maroilles cheese sauces, charged extra, were so diluted that the Maroilles flavor was practically nonexistent.
Considering the prices, you're not paying for the ambiance, the welcome, the quality of service, or, even less so, the food.
Avoid this place...
16/08/2026: The food was absolutely delicious and the staff very welcoming, even though we hadn't booked on Friday night. The service was quick and friendly, and they were very attentive to our needs. ☺️ The Welsh burger was excellent! 👌🤩 The mussels in garlic cream sauce were also very good.
We will definitely be back without hesitation! ☺️

02/08/2026: Went for the Welsh rarebit festival last night (August 1st, 2026). Very disappointing. Arrived at 7 pm, and after half an hour there was still no waiter to order drinks. An hour and a half later, we finally got our drinks because I went to the bar; otherwise, the waiter had forgotten to take the order. And the food? Don't even get me started! It was served two and a half hours later... When we went to pay, we expressed our dissatisfaction, and the owner was very unpleasant. Avoid this place. And believe me, I don't usually leave bad reviews. One star for Olivia and Lydia, who served us our food with a smile and apologies.

23/07/2026: Seems like a place for locals only. We we didn’t get what we ordered - and the arrogant waiter didn’t care at all. Will never go back - we didn’t feel welcomed.

26/08/2024: Nous sommes artistes et avons été séduit par le lieu, bien reçu par la fille du patron, nous avons bien mangé et bien reçu, belle petite salle de spectacle, beau décor. J'y suis retourné une 2eme fois aprés avoir été en studio à Paris, nous avons fait le détour pour y passer avec un autre artiste. Et ce fut pareil, très bien reçu, très bien mangé, ma compagne à adoré les moules et moi j'ai pris un steck tartare, il m'a tellement bien gouté que j'en ai repris un 2éme (oui je suis un bon mangeur lol). Nous sommes enchantés de l'endroit et espérons y retourner pour y donner des représentations car nous avons été séduit.
31/07/2024: Nous sommes venu a 3 ce jours pour profiter d’une offre a 9.90 pour des moules frites. Une fois servi et après avoir mangé quelques moules peu savoureuses ….. l effroi une moule complètement pourrie et même constant pour un de mes amis. Nous avons demandé a voir le patron de l’établissement mais ce dernier était absent donc nous voulions voir au moins le cuisinier mais ce dernier avait quitté l’établissement quelques secondes avant ma demande ….. les serveuses on présentées leurs excuses alors qu’elles n’étaient pas en cause …. Nous déconseillons vivement cet établissement.

03/08/2024: Très déçu, ne servent plus de planches à 21h ! Alors que cela n est pas indiqué sur leur carte. Refus de nous 2 servir 2 planches à 21h03 ! Qu on ne vienne pas dire que les commerçants n y arrivent pas....
