13/09/2026: The staff were friendly, but the food was disappointing. The swordfish and duck were far too overcooked (despite requesting it rare, even for someone who likes it well-done, it was too much). The porcini mushroom sauce was watery with a faint mushroom flavor. It's a real shame because the menu is quite appealing. That said, the gratin dauphinois was very good.

18/10/2026: It's impossible to give zero stars on Google Maps. I hope that will change someday. The Black Stone is a hangout for bourgeois types from the 16th arrondissement of Paris who gather amongst themselves. So far, nothing problematic. People go where they want. However, the prices are also typical of restaurants in the 16th arrondissement. Yet, the Black Stone is located in the middle of nowhere, opposite a football pitch. How can they justify the exorbitant price of their pint of Guinness (€9.50)? To make matters worse, they only accept cards for purchases over €10.00. How strange! Ultimately, you have to pay €19.00 for two Guinnesses if you want to pay by card. It's simply outrageous. I said exactly the same thing about O'Brady's. But at the Black Stone, it's even more vicious. When I asked the waiter if the owner of the establishment was the same as the owner of O'Brady's, he curtly replied, "Not at all! Why?" Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll also mention the service. I ordered my beer directly at the bar, so I don't know if they offer table service, but I imagine they do. At the Black Stone, you don't even have time to finish your beer. The waiter snatches it from your hands before you've even finished it! What a complete lack of respect! He pretends to be running around and busy, even though there are several waiters and we were only 10 customers. On top of that, he's particularly unpleasant. When you speak to him, he runs off and mutters an incomprehensible reply under his breath. Typical of the bourgeois types from the 16th arrondissement who have no time for anything or anyone and who snub every human being they meet! Let's talk about the restrooms now. I simply wanted to use the restroom after finishing my beer. Not finding them, I politely asked the waiter where they were. To which he rudely replied: "The restrooms are for customers only. You have to have ordered a drink to use the restroom!" I must be dreaming! I ordered my beer from the same waiter 20 minutes earlier! In despair, I told him I had ordered a drink and offered to show him the receipt. Luckily, I had kept it! He replied (still aggressively): "No, it's fine..." I found the restrooms myself. As for marketing, the menus are AI-generated. Absolutely no creativity. I have rarely been treated as badly as at the Black Stone. I went there with a friend. When I left, I had spent €38.00 on four beers (of which I only drank two). An absolute scandal. Who else in Marseille charges such high prices? If you're a snobbish bourgeois living in the 16th arrondissement of Paris and you hate poverty and the poor in general, then Black Stone is for you!

20/07/2026: Super delicious!! It's like being in Italy! The portions are huge and the food is very fresh. A Taiwanese person treated me to this, I don't know why it only got 4.6 stars🌟. I eat white food every day, and I think this place is definitely five stars. The baguette was still piping hot. The pizza was huge~~and had tons of cheese~~ The lasagna was also delicious!

25/08/2026: A great find. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but once inside, you discover a treasure. Air-conditioned dining room and an outdoor pergola. The food is good. The service is quite fast. The portions are generous. But there's nothing under 20 euros, not even the salads.

07/07/2026: We were there about a week ago and had two delicious pizzas. I think it was the best pizza I've ever eaten. And we come from a big city with a good selection! The tomato sauce base is already well-seasoned, the crust is perfect, and the toppings are tasty.

05/07/2026: For the time being, I had to mourn the loss of my favorite pizza with a hummus base and tomato sauce – I can no longer digest tomatoes – but I opted for the Parma pizza with a cream base – truly excellent, delicious, ready to dethrone my favorite pizza. Everything was delicious: the Parmesan, the melting eggplant, and the mozzarella – wow! The best pizzeria in Marseille!!!

17/08/2026: The pizzas weren't amazing, to be honest, but they were okay. The servers were super friendly and very welcoming. They really enjoyed our meal. So it's worth it, you'll leave with a smile!

16/08/2026: Food was bad. NO WAY CLEAN. Rubbish, unprofessional; we had to wash our own cutlery. The price was low considering the quality, thankfully. Mediocre, avoid it.
