03/09/2026: I'm giving this restaurant 5 stars in my memory, but it's not nice to have closed permanently without warning anyone, without a notice on the door or on social media. It's rather disrespectful to the customers who came regularly. La Bastide is in mourning.

26/07/2026: We went to this restaurant as a family this evening to celebrate a birthday. After waiting over an hour for someone to take our order, and then another hour before being served, we waited almost two hours before we could even start eating. We had ordered beef tartare. Leaving aside the taste of the food, there's a lot to say. We found a hair in one of our plates. In another, we had ordered a piece of beef, but the meat served was actually veal. When we pointed this out to the waitress, we were assured it was indeed beef. After checking, it turned out to be veal. The kitchen staff then had the nerve to reply in a very inappropriate tone: "If I tell you it's beef, it's beef." A completely disrespectful response to customers who had remained polite throughout. Sometimes you need to be able to question yourself, Madam. We never attacked you; we simply pointed out that we were served the wrong dish. So we decided to return the dish and leave it at that. When we simply remarked that the service was very slow, we were told, "Yes, but it's 35 degrees Celsius in the kitchen." Yet the restaurant was practically empty. Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, I can assure you that 35 degrees Celsius in a kitchen is perfectly normal. I would even go so far as to say it's rather bearable. You might think I'm exaggerating, but unfortunately, everything I'm saying is true. A little advice for the kitchen staff: accept criticism, especially when it's given politely. Criticism isn't always an attack; it can also lead to improvement. Finally, to top it all off, we had brought our own birthday cake. Despite the appalling service, we were still charged €3 per slice of cake. Unfortunately, we left extremely disappointed. It was, by far, the worst restaurant experience I've ever had in Bordeaux. I will never go back and I absolutely do not recommend it.

19/08/2026: One of the best restaurants for this type of cuisine. Even a simple sandwich is made with great care (quality meat, homemade sauce). Furthermore, the customer service is superb; the chef is very kind and welcoming. The atmosphere of the small, hidden terrace is cozy, with vintage decorations and greenery adding to the charm of the place. A must-try!

23/06/2026: I was impressed by the warm welcome and kindness of the staff throughout my visit. The atmosphere was charming, and the decor was tasteful. The value for money was simply impeccable.

25/08/2026: Yeah this is great pizza at a very convenient spot for perfectly normal prices. Recommended for sure.

20/08/2026: The product was good, but the service was terrible, especially since we were tourists. We saw him hide the card reader under the counter, and he couldn't understand us in English or Spanish. However, when it came time to pay, a "Cash Only" popped out of his mouth, sounding like it came straight from Westminster. Once we had our pizza and were out of sight of him, we heard him laughing his head off at us with a friend of his who seemed to have a questionable lifestyle.

19/08/2026: Avoid this restaurant! The pizza had no taste, the Caesar salad was bland, and there were fingerprints all over the plate. I absolutely do not recommend it.

22/08/2026: One of the best Pizza Huts! CheezyCrust is always perfect!

15/08/2026: Pretty good: it's mass-produced pizza, but you know what you're getting! However, our takeaway order was over 20 minutes late. We didn't get an apology, but since the staff seemed indifferent to our presence, we weren't surprised. During the wait, we were treated to the restaurant's frosty atmosphere. In short, it's a good option, and on a Tuesday evening, it was cheap!

22/09/2026: Terrible! Extremely disappointed. The service is at the counter, not even a hello. Avoid at all costs!

21/09/2026: Everyone going to a concert at the auditorium passes through here before the show. Except now you have to order at the bar, which means queuing up, and depending on the time, it's more or less crowded. The price of a pint hasn't gone down, so for the same price as before, you're basically serving yourself because they don't serve on the terrace anymore. I'm switching places!
