19/08/2026: After a 7-hour train journey, I was craving a good pizza. However, being alone, and despite there being plenty of space, I was turned away.
I understand that a table for four for one person might be inconvenient, but these "tables for four" were actually two tables for two pushed together.
Since there was an empty space behind them, it would have been easy to separate the tables without disrupting service at all.
I should add that there were no reservation signs on these tables (there were several). It's a shame because the reviews were quite good…
15/08/2026: Passing through with a stopover at Argentan station and a 2-hour wait before the next train, a good pizza would be welcome...exquisite pizza and for dessert a crepe tatin to die for...bravo, I recommend without hesitation.

07/06/2026: I went to the restaurant last night and what a disappointment!
The order was served very quickly, admittedly, but the food was lukewarm. 🙄
Furthermore, I witnessed a scene that left me speechless.
The owner/manager was disrespectful to some employees in front of the customers; it's really unacceptable. And when it came time to pay, she was incredibly unpleasant; I think she was just eager for us to leave.
I sincerely feel sorry for the employees with such a boss.
I advise you to find another employer.

14/05/2026: Searched the town for a lunch venue, but most were serving 3 course set meals (on a public holiday). Had a very nice galette in here (choice of 8). Quick and friendly service.

01/08/2026: The quintessential Sagie restaurant, offering hearty and delicious cuisine, excellent service with attentive staff, especially for a wheelchair user, so it's perfectly suited to their needs.
We recommend the Norman platter and the galette.
30/07/2026: A real restaurant, the kind we love and that's becoming rare. Sauerkraut, stew, old-fashioned ham... good food and a lovely setting.

An excellent place, with super friendly owners.
13/02/2026: I work all over Normandy, and whenever my route takes me through Alençon (or even if I make a detour 🙈), this is my go-to spot for a meal.
The owners are very friendly and always offer great advice.
Generous salads, fresh ingredients—in short, everything is perfect.
I look forward to eating there again as soon as possible!

Whether for lunch or dinner, it was excellent.
The salmon steak was succulent.
The bone-in ham was excellent.
The pizzas were very good.
The prices are more than reasonable for both the food and the drinks.
The waiter was very pleasant and attentive to the customer.
Highly recommended!

Our dishes were high quality and generous portions. Good value for money.

30/06/2026: Shameful! We waited an hour for just one pizza and two plates of pasta, even though they told us it would only take 20 minutes. Everyone else was waiting. If you can't serve on time, you need to hire more staff. Yes, it costs more, but it's really unacceptable to make your customers wait like that.

10/08/2026: I have passed by several times at night but the machine is always out of service at night, even though it is marked 24/7.

We've never been disappointed; on the contrary, we've been very surprised by the quality of the pizzas from a vending machine. Thank you to the pizza maker.
I'm surprised by the negative reviews.
For our part, we thoroughly enjoyed them.

c’est un attrape nigauds, pas de choix de plat à moins de 26€ ( petit chaudron de moules au curry)
la carte des desserts ne vous ai pas présenté , seul un plateau avec des desserts trés classique ( mousse au chocolat = 16€) , nous avons payé une note trés chére pour pas grand chose dans l’assiette
