20/01/2025: After reading the reviews, I made the trip and I am disappointed, very fatty meat, it is not interesting to offer around fifteen meats if for the first 6, it is of poor quality
it becomes sickening! For the buffet, it's simple, not homemade too bad, but understandable so it will be a 3 out of 5 and I don't think I'll come back. Best wishes

14/06/2025: Good Portuguese cuisine, fairly well served, and friendly, attentive service. The general atmosphere needs to be improved; the bar gives a bad impression upon entry. If I hadn't come with a regular, I wouldn't have gone in. Satisfied when I left, that's the most important thing.

01/07/2024: Server in a hurry and insistent on taking the order as soon as we were seated. Starter served before the aperitif. Only 2 Portuguese specialties, the rest has nothing to do with Portuguese cuisine (egg mayonnaise, oriental tabbouleh, tartare, etc.). A lot has changed in a few years...
I was invited by equally disappointed friends. I don't think I'll go back there.

02/03/2024: A very nice address discovered by chance thanks to the magic of GPS when I was looking for a nearby restaurant around midday.
Little advice, it is better to call in advance to find out if there is space because this Portuguese restaurant is very quickly full after midday, with tables mainly made up of construction workers, but also many regulars who know find the rare pearl with excellent homemade cuisine, more than generous portions, unbeatable value for money, and all served with a smile by a manager and waitresses who are friendly, polite, and devilishly efficient, even at lunch time. “hot stroke” from lunch.
The setting is very simple, without fuss, the menu is short and efficient: 3 starters, 3 main courses and numerous desserts. The Portuguese cassoulet was a delight which brought back holiday memories and the homemade dessert, a real treat that I advise you to try if you have the good idea to stop at this Caravelle. A complete meal with a large bottle of sparkling wine, a quarter of wine and coffee for less than 16 euros, it deserves 5 stars and the furious desire to come back soon on my next visit to Ormesson!
