27/02/2026: Terrible service. They explained that they serve four different types of meat, and each type of meat comes around the table once. If you want more, they don't come back for more. I don't understand why they call it a rodizio (all-you-can-eat). I won't be back. Lunch consisted of a slice of picanha because I don't like having a full plate.

13/02/2026: Authentic and perfectly executed Portuguese cuisine. The dishes are generous, well-seasoned, and prepared with fresh ingredients. The service is quick and efficient, and the plates arrive piping hot. Special mention goes to the grilled meats and homemade desserts: absolutely flawless. A truly great spot, reliable and consistent. I highly recommend it.

Consider the quality and the price this is one of the best restaurant I've ever been. The staff is really nice too. 5 stars are absolutely deserved

21/02/2026: Once again, we relied on the reviews... Takeout remains the best option. The products are good quality.
However, if you eat in, they're rip-offs... Beer €4, two mealy shrimp with fries €38, two octopus tentacles with rice and green beans €32... a chocolate mousse and a tiramisu €12... And that was lunchtime!
I would have paid the same price if I'd eaten at La Tour d'Argent in Paris...
The owner didn't even offer us coffee; I gave him €100 and he still wanted the remaining 80 cents.
I want to emphasize that the food is good quality, but not at these prices, and certainly not on an unheated terrace with the atmosphere of a takeout bar.
Furthermore, the service is awful; the waitress, completely lacking in tact, even ate during her shift. Saying "thank you, please" is optional with them.
What a rip-off...
Don't eat there.

05/12/2025: Catastrophic, translucent sauce, fish everywhere, served still frozen, truly disgusting, I do not recommend. Broken plate, table not even cleared properly before coffee. Avoid at all costs.

24/01/2026: Several visits on Sunday afternoons for the dance, a New Year's Eve celebration, and a Saturday evening dinner have confirmed that the food is excellent, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere perfect for relaxing and dancing. I highly recommend this establishment.

The room was very clean and spacious.
I would have preferred a firmer mattress.
But otherwise, I recommend it.

A wide selection of delicious dishes awaits you! Take a look at the menu. An incredible choice!
The restaurant is very popular, so it's essential to book in advance. But even without a reservation, you might get lucky, like we did, and find a table after a short wait.
The staff is welcoming and attentive to special requests.
Highly recommended.
There's something for everyone!
The drinks menu will satisfy all your cravings!
And if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask the servers.
I'll definitely be back!

02/03/2024: A very nice address discovered by chance thanks to the magic of GPS when I was looking for a nearby restaurant around midday.
Little advice, it is better to call in advance to find out if there is space because this Portuguese restaurant is very quickly full after midday, with tables mainly made up of construction workers, but also many regulars who know find the rare pearl with excellent homemade cuisine, more than generous portions, unbeatable value for money, and all served with a smile by a manager and waitresses who are friendly, polite, and devilishly efficient, even at lunch time. “hot stroke” from lunch.
The setting is very simple, without fuss, the menu is short and efficient: 3 starters, 3 main courses and numerous desserts. The Portuguese cassoulet was a delight which brought back holiday memories and the homemade dessert, a real treat that I advise you to try if you have the good idea to stop at this Caravelle. A complete meal with a large bottle of sparkling wine, a quarter of wine and coffee for less than 16 euros, it deserves 5 stars and the furious desire to come back soon on my next visit to Ormesson!
