A true Lyonnais restaurant atmosphere on a Friday lunchtime, where time slips inexorably towards a pleasant weekend.

22/07/2026: This isn't our first time ordering from Max. This time we picked up the pizzas by bike to eat them in the cool shade by the Miribel canal. So we ate them cold, which wasn't a problem given the temperatures we've been having lately. Even cold, they were absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be back.

29/07/2026: I ordered several takeaway pizzas and for the first time I'm disappointed.
The pizza dough is different and noticeably less good.
The toppings have also decreased in both quantity and quality.

01/07/2026: Excellent kebab. The best in Lyon, never disappointed. Sometimes there's just a tiny bit less meat for my taste, and the person taking orders isn't always very friendly. It's a shame. Otherwise, the quality, the welcome, and the service are really top-notch. Well done!

08/04/2026: Only came for lunch. Perfect weather and it was a lovely location by the lake. The food was ok. We both had pasta and ordered mocktails, which were good. There was no table bread provided to us, but another table had it so not sure if it had to be requested but in other places it is automatic. We did get some pretzels with the drinks. Only the bar staff member spoke English and she was lovely.
