29/11/2025: After reading the reviews, I was hesitant, so I wanted to try it for myself. I can tell you that if you're expecting fine dining, this isn't the place for you, but for a friendly, convivial experience, I highly recommend it. There were four of us, and we weren't disappointed at all. It has the feel of a traditional French open-air café, which is hard to find at this time of year. The welcome was very warm, and as for the food, the burgers, pizza, and flank steak were cooked to perfection. Being particular about how well-cooked my food is, I wasn't disappointed. The owner was very friendly; it's just a shame for him that there aren't more customers. If you're passing through and looking for a pleasant place to eat with friends, stop by. Keep up the good work at Au Refuge du Trappeur, and as for me, don't change a thing!

28/10/2025: I'm disappointed with the food. We ordered rare burgers, but unfortunately, they arrived well-done. The burger itself wasn't cooked: a bit of lettuce, a slice of tomato, a well-done beef patty, and frozen fries for €18 😕 The "café gourmand" (gourmet coffee) consisted of pre-made items. It's a shame because the setting is nice.
