Les meilleurs restaurants en Nanteuil-Les-Meaux

05/09/2026: I always enjoyed going to Hiro in Nanteuil-les-Meaux; it was one of my favorite Asian restaurants. The last time I went, I was surprised to find tablets on the tables, like you see in many all-you-can-eat buffets these days. "Okay, it must make their job easier in the kitchen," I thought. But as the waiter entered the order into the tablet, I noticed that the weekend price had gone up from €27.90 to €30.90. Well, let's wait and see; I've always loved eating at Hiro, so I figured if it cost a few extra euros. But seeing that price increase already put me off ordering a drink, let alone dessert. But the real surprise came when I looked at the menu. Many of my favorite dishes had simply disappeared, the selection of "simple" maki had drastically decreased, there were fewer appetizers and skewers, and the same for wok dishes. However, the menu has been expanded with a selection of "special maki," basically classic makis smothered in sauce and accompanied by toppings like strawberries or mango... There are also some "run-of-the-mill" dishes that, in my opinion, have no place on an Asian restaurant menu, like a ribeye steak, for example. I order what I usually order, which is still on the menu, and everything arrives on new, falsely chic gold-toned dishes. It seems the restaurant is trying to emulate the aesthetic of some "big" all-you-can-eat buffets that try to project an "elegant" image, but that wasn't at all the kind of experience I was looking for when I went to Hiro. I taste the dishes, and good news: they're still good! Except for the makis, whose rice seems a bit too mushy and which, overall, have less flavor. Just for the experience, I try a "special maki" with tuna and avocado. It's not bad, since it tastes the same as a tuna/avocado maki, it's just less convenient to eat. On the plus side, some hot dishes like rice, noodles, and meat seem to be served in more generous portions! The service is also a bit faster than before. But at the end of my meal, I wasn't satisfied. Some dishes I used to like are no longer served, I don't appreciate the artificially chic atmosphere, and I didn't like eating with a tablet sitting on the table the whole time. I used to really like Hiro, but I think the last time I went was the last. I imagine this experience will suit others. Thank you for everything, I wish you all the best. A former loyal customer.

05/09/2026: We came last night, and it was very noisy; it really wasn't pleasant. But more importantly, we've been regular customers at Hiro's for several years, and we were surprised to see that every table was now equipped with a tablet and that the prices had gone up. While there are some new dishes, quite a few of our favorites have been removed. And we came specifically for those dishes that are no longer on the menu. Unfortunately, I think it's over for us.

25/08/2026: Absolutely horrible waitress, not smiling, bitter, and on top of that, very cold. I definitely won't be coming back here.

25/08/2026: There was nobody there, and on top of that, we had to wait, and everything was cold. It's not the first time; I really don't recommend this McDonald's. Walk five minutes further and go to the one down in the town center.
