27/12/2025: One of the waiters was unpleasant and made snide remarks when he asked us if everything was alright. We replied no, noting that the conveyor belt was empty except for a few salmon sashimi and some hot, or rather cold, dishes. He asked us what we wanted and brought it to us almost immediately, acting condescendingly.

27/12/2025: We came to this all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant for dinner after making a reservation by phone. The phone reception was excellent, and we were seated quickly, within 15 minutes of our call. However, once we were seated at our table with my partner, the experience deteriorated significantly. There was practically nothing on the conveyor belt, or it was always the same dishes, and several items advertised as hot were actually completely cold. After a while, a waiter came to ask if everything was alright. We explained that it wasn't, due to the lack of choice. His response was unpleasant and haughty, which made the interaction very uncomfortable. The dishes we had ordered were then brought to us, but still with a sarcastic attitude. Truly unprofessional behavior. He returned later to ask if we wanted to continue or have dessert. Very disappointed, we replied that we didn't want anything else. His sarcastic remark, along the lines of "I thought there was nothing on the mat, you're already full," confirmed our discomfort. This is the second time we've been to this restaurant and the second bad experience. Between the limited selection, the poor quality of the food, the waiter's attitude, and the price, it's clearly not good value for money. So we've decided not to return and to continue frequenting other all-you-can-eat restaurants on Rouen's right bank, which are less expensive, offer more choices, better quality ingredients, and a much more pleasant welcome. I do not recommend this establishment. This bad experience has even put me off my appetite.

24/02/2026: As loyal customers for several years, it's always a great pleasure to be welcomed by Nicolas (Badge: Le petit Nico). His exceptional kindness and professionalism do your establishment proud. Unfortunately, during our last visit, last Saturday evening, the culinary experience fell short. My husband's burger was bland, and my steak tartare was simply meat with an overly exaggerated seasoning, lacking any finesse. Finally, while the beer (a "Barbouse") was good, it was sorely lacking in freshness. We hope for a real turnaround in the kitchen so that the food lives up to the service.

Once you've had a pizza at La Toscane, you'll want to come back to try everything! Excellent wines too. Since discovering Tuscany, we don't go anywhere else to enjoy Italian food!
